That girl was very right when she said .. its like a two edged sword, you can either be very offensive or really appreciative. Freedom of speech is important but in the end it's a persons choice if he/she wants to suck the entire happiness from a person or make someone happy. :) There will never be an end to mean comments or mean people but not to forget there are good people who wish good for others too.

Well India is a country with a population of crores,which means there are crores of independent people who have the right to put forward their views. Now it depends on their upbringing and background of how decently do they put forward their views so that it doesn't become offensive for anyone or does not cause any harm to the integrity or the emotions of any individual or group. "Freedom of speech" a great topic chosen by the Being Indian group as always. Glad to see that at least there are some people who actually know how to utilize this freedom your self development and the nation and i am sure people who don't know how to utilize it properly will learn a lot from this video while getting entertained. Something I'm confused about... So now people cant get in trouble if they are threatening or bullying an individual online?
In the case when it's angry trolls that your never going to meet agreed. However if it's people you know then the threat is real. I've involved the police before with someone who was threatening me. Online was just the method of communication they chose and they took it seriously as the person had a mental illness so they where worried for my saftey.
Its called trolling(you can say shit just because you can! ). there should be no governing body for the Internet because Internet is the only true form of freedom of speech in both the ways good and bad ( Except for Siriya and Pakistan)
I'm not referring to trolling I'm referring to real life threats that suggests the person has every intention in following through with said threats. Is in the case where the person is known to the other and they use online as a form of communicating it to them.
Becca c well if he is trying to do that, he would cover his tracks, and nobody is going to post threats on the Internet to intentionally harm any one of he or she does so then that person is a dumb fuck. Nobody publishes their intentions of causing harm to another person online except for terrorist organizations
I have had 2 such instances. The first was punished by police. The second not yet that's why I'm wondering about the laws.

people should know that only 66A has been taken down but there are other sections in IPC and 1 more act (i don't remember) which can still get you in trouble if you go beyond the limits.

Dude it's India just because 66A has been scrapped does not mean it is enforced. There are countless other laws which are issued but not practiced. The uptight lunatics will get offended no matter what.
Also, they have to follow certain CZcams guidelines. May be that word was breaching those guidelines so they had to beep it.
