His various observations are thus not to be taken seriously. I mean, come on, Mr Lammy, playing the class envy card is rather hyporcritical coming from someone who perhaps has himself benefited from race preference. You being, I suggest, a prime example of someone advancing up the greasy political pole without any apparent personal merit.

Every time there is an election in this country, the Labour Party drag out the old chestnuts of closing pubic schools, banning hunting etc.
Everybody who lives in this country is entitled to their way of life. Labour have banged these particular drums, the politics of envy for years and years . Change the tune, make your own life good, by working hard at school and university. Doors do open, opportunities come along , you never know what is round the corner.

I would have thought being highly educated would be an asset to being a politician. We don’t want to be ruled by a bunch of thick idiots and we don’t want to be governed by people who are educated beyond their abilities. We don’t want to be governed by those who are only in the position to fit DEI quotas either.

Now it's definitely not my favourite show to say the least, but it is the most watched daytime show. Reform are becoming big, despite the efforts of the likes of Sky and the BBC

The brightest and best are actually Asian. Harvard restricts the number of places to them and increases the number (beyond their academic achievement) of African Americans. Harvard is no longer a bastion of excellence.

Even if the working class go to Oxbridge they are still working class. They pretend they are something they are not once they've been. Let's face it, even the toffs are pretending to be something they are not. Most are flaming useless. My kids ( two went to Camb) actually have substance behind them to get them there. They still have that real substance & that comes from being working class. The toffs are mainly actors & are full of a sense of entitlement.
