In real life its not worth it, you would get stones throw at your house. Not worth risking your families life. And its not worth all the abuse everyone around you will face. The mature person would have left by then. And parents would move their child away from such a situation.
His mum will probably die after these words and they will make it full of regrets. So he will probably blame himself for what he said to her. So I think if they wanted to make it work, they would have make so simon was a secret. Like he was at the start. Its clear simon didnt know what he was getting into by saying "I want everyone to know".
So sad 😢to guys wilhelm and simon did not end up together

useless and boring, a lot of things added in the plot to lengthen the story..
