- Today we are joined by Ando (UnlistedLeaf) to open one of the rarest Pokémon booster boxes! We crack open an entire box of 1st Edition Fossil from the year 1999. The stakes are high, can we pull all the chase cards from this set? You'll have to watch the entire video to find out!

id just fill a binder and call it a day, it ain't all about the money. I wouldn't trust some minimum wage dude with my pack fresh 1st edition set to save my life. It's a pack fresh set, doesnt get more mint than that, who gives a shit about what PSA has to say..

I watch this videos as a 37yr old crying knowing how rich i could of been 😩😩😭😭
Isn't it like a 50/50 chance, meaning yes a vintage box is going to have a set value being as old as it is an unopened and likely a high value yes. However it is unknown which cards are in the box until you open. Thus if you open the box and reveal the cards,(so long as you properly seal the cards in card holders to protect them to keep them in good condition ( if you happen to get a holy grail card that could be worth more than the unopened box is set value then you could make out right? Or if you don't end up getting valuable cards worth more than the unopened box value then you can also lose out too right??
Personal as nice as a vintage unopened box sounds I would feel as if I'm missing something by not opening and seeing which cards are inside as if get good cards then being able to look at the beautiful rare cards will be much more satisfying than an unopened box

The nostalgia is real. What a trip down memory lane. This was the set I remember the most even though I was like 6 years old. Magneton and Haunter were the cards I remembered the most.
Haunter definitely. So unique to be the middle evolution as a holo

Seeing all of these cards brings me so much joy! Dragonite has always had a special place in my heart since it was one of the more "difficult" Pokemon to get when I first started playing in Leaf Green (I was ~6 years old and didn't know much 😅)

Its actually insane seeing a box touching air for the first time in longer than i've been alive. I also like the kabutops you mainly because my friend got a fossil pack and that was his rare.

I absolutely enjoyed this video. Hate you guys didn’t get the holo Dragonite. My favorite pull was the reg rare Dragonite. The background blend is impressive and vibrant for a darker set of cards. It really makes it stand out.

Magmar at 8:34 & 20:30 is one of my favorite Pokémon. I’m glad I have him and it’s one of the best art works of Magmar.
That’s easily one of the best magmar cards even though it’s just an uncommon
@@pokecollectcards They never give Magmar his props. He was the first Pokémon to put Charizard in his place in the series. Then they give him some beginner CAD program for his EX card! He needs a good full art again.
