I welcome a 151 reprint. Why should it be so difficult and expensive to find booster packs? They could sell so much if stores just had them in stock. I suspect that the hoarding of sealed products for this set is massive.

With pull rates over the years I honestly just buy 1 of each product, because im a go on promos and ripping is fun. Afterwards I just buy singles. Fun hunting things down that way and way cheaper than ripping 1000 packs +. I miss in base set days when you would get 2-3 booster pack boxes and could complete base set. Good times.
Looking at previous trends in the TCG, it is likely they will do another print for 151.
37 as well and Pokemon was actually the one 90s thing I DIDNT get into! BUT through my 8 yr old Son, the lack of culture currently, and the Scarlet And Violete 151 cards Ive gotten into the franchise all these years later! Having a blast watching everyone open packs!
The venasaur SIR is one the best, in my opinion, better than charizard and blatoise that card is super vibrant

I'm the same age as you. Grew up during the early days of pokemon, so 151 has definitely been a fun set for me.
Mine was gen 1 and 2 but I always will love neo cause that was around the time I lost someone in my family so it help me remember them for some reason. But a remake of neo would be so sick
Initially the pulls didn’t justify the amount but you started pulling so many more hits. I agree I would love to see a full gen 2 set. Congratz on the pulls.

The May reprint is for Japanese. But of course English will get 1 or two more reprints. Since the set isn't even 1 year old yet.
I also heard rumors the next holiday special set will be dragon themed. It's just a rumor right now though.

I hope they reprint the English version too, I just started my collection yesterday by opening 39 packs, got a good chunk of the set complete, but still need most of the illustration cards

36 here - started with Pokemon Red and Pokemon TCG Base Set. It has been super fun getting back into collecting - great haul dude! I just need that Venusaur SIR and the Zapdos SIR to complete my set.
Thank you for sharing your videos man I love them. I have been hesitant to start the master set for 151 because of ludicrous prices and lack of stock. Im gonna just wait for the reprint which I hope it happens. If the Japanese 151 got a reprint the the English should too I hope.

Boring answer but Eevee line specifically Jolteon. When I was a kid the Pidgey line was legit my favorite. The first wild pokemon you encounter 😅

Im kinda over 151. I made the masterset, promos and all, sold it for $1000, and still have duplicates of high value cards. Im more into alt arts of all sets now.
You can work on a 2nd master set of 151 - i would definitely watch that

I just a bought a bunch of 151 product but Im holding on to it for the long run. I have a feeling sealed product from this set will be worth a lot in the future.

Walmart has booster bundles in stock online right now for 29 bucks, if you're looking for some, good time to buy for sure
I want it to reprint! I'm going to a card show this weekend. Should I buy all my singles now or should I wait till next month?
No real word on an English reprint yet I believe, just speculation since Japanese is getting one. Hard to say on waiting for singles though, just because of the tcg rotation, some cards would become more or less viable as people figure out new decks, so could cause fluctuations, so it's kind of a gamble either way I guess, but I'd think 151 would be relatively stable either way.

These I cobbled together from a bunch of places, Walmart booster bundles, some Sam's Club tins, ETBs I got in person, and a couple boxes from Costco.

Yeh there are a few reverse holos in 151 worth a bit, funnily enough the metapod was one of the last few I needed myself. It's funny how some randomly seem to be rarer than others.
13:21 you mentioned how dificult to pull the Zapdos illustration rare, this guy in this video pulled 2 of those in 1 pack

That's lucky, thanks for the link! After this video I actually pulled 2 of them in a short time as well, funnily enough, one in my Scarlet and Violet tournament video, and another from a random booster bundle I opened on a live stream.
One of the hits was my favorite Pokémon!
what do you do with all the common cards you don't want? I opened a few packs just to collect the cards i want and i have no use for the other cards haha
I sleeve all my cards and store them, or give them away to kids when I have the chance. Some stores will let you trade bulk cards in for store credit if you don't want them, you could ask around at your local stores.
