- Look below for the playlist. Very cool concert my wife and I attended this year! 33 years ago we saw Ratt in La Crosse while in college. BTW, happy belated 65th birthday to Stephen Pearcy, born July 3rd. This concert rocked, both figuratively and literally! I hope you enjoy. Even though I did not capture every song, I got most of them from the 2nd row and then right at the stage for the last two songs.

For a guy battling cancer Stephen looks and sounds great. God's speed 🙏 Stephen were all pulling for you.

Out of the Cellar, listened to it everyday in the summer of 84, staying at the beach. Rock on!!
Wasn't that so much fun?!! Not a care in the world, being so young and free.
I don't care what anyone says, the 80's were so much fun.
I had 80's withdrawals in the 90's. I was so depressed.
I'm good now. LOL!

Pearcy - a true Rock Star!
You spelled coolest RATTS wrong
Not
I love watching Juan Croucier on stage. He always seems like he's having the time of his life.🤘
hes still doing the kicks and turns, lol
Pearcy's singing/voice is not only fair enough an affair but actually quite good! The man is 66 years of age - and battling cancer at present! Kudos to both these guitar players carrying on a legacy!
I agree a 100%!!! Pearcy hasn't sounded this good in a long time. Perfert Ratt pitch. Good for him for still bringing it!
Guys take a listen to his solo album a few years ago called SMASH. I'm not even a huge SP fan but that album is fantastic and I'm not just saying it, so are the reviews on-line. Give it a listen, SP sounds great!
@@gamjammer thx 4 pointing this out; i will!
Hes sober, too! He sounds great! Happy for him!
Any Ratt fan wishes SP the best with his health. I want to hear the man rock into his 70's. Heck, why not into his 80's! :)
Hey we’re all getting old, but I’m glad to see my generation is still out there having a good time!
You mean our great generation? Yes, we rock! :)
No other generation has music like this when they were/are teens. Ratt and Roll!

This band is in a time warp, incredible to see them still standing
Only Stephen and Juan are the originals. The guitarists and drummer have only been in the band for like 2 years
That’s because half of them were in diapers in the 80’s. Lol
Ha ha ha ha!!!! So funny!
@@RobBluth is not Bobby on drums???
@@allanpereira6194 no, Bobby has a separate version of Ratt by himself
RATT was my "get through this shit" back in the 80's and even the 90's. Stephen spoke a language I could easily understand and revel with. I wish him a speedy recovery and I am looking forward to seeing him and RATT again Live.
I hear you 100%. Many of us felt that way. Think of what the teens today deal with, and how they deal with it. They need metal!
@D M Fear and Love God at the same time.
It was all about that quitar sound for me. Rat had one of the best guitar sound while battling big bands of the time. The list of those bands are some of the biggest bands from the biggest generation the 80s.
@@MajorAir they have some great metal bands to help them get threw. There music is much more heavy than what I had in the 80s no radio play. Unfortunately that's all pop rap and pop country.
As for the metal it's broke up into different sub groups.. I listen to quite a bit of modern metal. Metal head to the end.
When your young though you feel the music in a way that never happens latter in life.
I will admit I did get goose bumps watching Iron maidens new video the other night.
@@jerryrichards8172 New video? What did I miss? Link please. Thanks.
I miss Warren on stage with them, but these guitarists did a hell of a job,,,sounds fantastic and a looked like a great time!!,,Thanks for posting
No problem. Glad you liked it.
they kicked ass but yeah Warren was a killer guitarist
Absolutely!
warren retired after all the infighting from the name battle.. he is on video with stephen talking about how he no longer has it in him to tour and his arthritis in his hands has gotten worse.. am hoping the reunion stephen wants of everyone left happens fast.. they just released today on robin's death anniversary that stephen has liver cancer from hepatitis...

Whattt ... Usa is Amazing...
I remember album Detonator.... When I was 18 years old ... Now 49 !!!
Crazy ...
Thanks for sharing this ...
From Paris France .... August 2021.
I will openly admit, Ratt was never my 'go to' band - but i DID like SP's unique upper range and some of the catchy riffs. Having said that, some of the negative comments on his voice - ummm, the dude is mid 60's!!! Ya OBV haven't seen some of the other 80 bands play lately - KISS, Crew, GnR, SkidRow etc - I thought his voice (albeit not hitting every note) was pretty solid! and hey - no lip syncing - who knew?!
Guys, this is a small blip in time that we all loved and treasured - so reliving it before our 'golden years' is truly just that ...gold. Enjoy life and the joys of our youth. These guys are aging at the same rate as us! Cheers
Very nicely said. Thank you! Keep things in perspective. I wonder how old some of the "negative" people are who are leaving certain comments.
@@MajorAir Most are probably old, fat and have accomplished little in their lives.
@@FrontSeatDriver Well, old is a given. :)
i saw ratt when they opened for bon jovi, in the 80's, his vocal ability live was bad, but yeah he was young so age is not the problem. I was disappointed. The studio work was great, but, bobby was very good & highly underrated. R.I.P. Great songs

He does sound good he looks great there's only one thing that's wrong I don't know if anyone on this page knows it but Stephen is battling cancer right now let's hope and pray that he takes care of himself and does the right thing by himself and his family and band members
I did not know that. That sucks. What kind? How far along? I will be researching this.
From what I heard it's liver cancer I also get the idea that I think he has hepatitis C but you know Stephen Pearcy he continues to Soldier on what he does my prayers are with him my prayers are with his family as well as well as his bandmates as well I I've met Stephen Pearcy many times over he's a very nice guy and has the Rockstar attitude I used to see him walk up and down Studio City on Ventura Boulevard in his leather pants and a t-shirt going to a record store but that's who he is and you got to love him because he's The Voice ratt 🐀.

Only thing missing, is WARREN he is a guitar god, absolute legend.
Stephen, Kuddos for you doing a fantastic job at your age and health. Its not about the high notes, its about the performance!! Great job!
He can hit some of the high notes. Check out how he sounds 30 years younger right at the beginning of Round and Round.
Out of the Cellar and Invasion of Your Privacy are the 2 best "hair band" albums in my opinion. Saw them live in 89, saw Bobby's Ratt in 16. I wanted to make this show but couldn't, so thanks for posting. I think they sound great especiall Stephen, makes me wish I would have rearranged my schedule to see them.

Agreed. I like the extra jams in this live version. Stephen struggles but keeps it going well. Great quality recording here, very steady.
@@michaelehlert9 Thanks. And thanks to my wife too for helping out. She is vertically challenged, so good thing we were near the stage. ;)
Whitesnake "Whitesnake" too
Why do you insist on that label? It was not used back then. This was fucking metal....then it was labeled "glam'" when thrash was on the other side. That's it. Got to be the worst definition of metal out there
Glad to read through some of the comments and see some positive stuff. So many negative comments on some of these sites about Ratt. What because Warren Demartini is not there. Stephen especially has a right to make a living playing Ratt's songs. They are his as much as anyone else in the band. Now with Bobby playing shows it's even more original. The 2 younger guitarists are solid especially Ziff and they add background vocals. More than anything else they want to be there and play for the fans. They seem like 2 dudes who worshipped Ratt as kids and are proud and so thankful to be in the band. Warren is entitled to be Rich and retired that's all good and these dudes deserve to keep Ratt's legacy going as long as Stephen chooses
I like how you explained everything. So true! Welcome to the Ratt pack! 🤘
I got to see RATT, TWISTED SISTER ,on their very first tour in Evansville, Indiana at Robert's stadium! It was a concert that I have never forgot to this day! That day I knew I was a Ratt and Roller for life! Thank you RATT for many years of rocking my fuckin brains out!

I got to see this show about a mile from my house, live at the little Wisconsin, Waukesha County Fair..I had to be begged to go..But so glad I went.....You think it's easy for a 65yr old guy to sing this type of music all over the place?.. For decades?..Shit I'm 63 and I get tired just walking around Walmart a couple of times....The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac played their pretty music up into their mid 60s but they always sounded great standing still and singing that kind of music..And they are some of my favorite bands...But Steve had some bad years with Ratt probably beginning with Robin passing away, and decades and decades of legal bullshit, and his heart maybe wasn't in it..For a singer that's important...He seemed to transform himself now at 65. Like a fuckin' magic trick...Like a blessing from God..Maybe now he got the right bunch of guys, who ever the hell they are, including Juan, and he can finally pull it together.....I wouldn't change a thing Steve...As much as the other guys, and Carlos were great and shit but...I wouldn't change a fucking thing...God bless you Steve finally.......Not a real real big Ratt or Hair Band fan, but I've been rooting for you for decades.....For the sake of Rock and Roll...I mean Ratt and Roll I guess....frankm63yroldwhitekid

Gotta give it to RATT still bringing it after all these years great stuff!
Thank you,Steven singing good here!)
He really does sound good, especially after all these years.
I saw RATT live twice in the 80s. Was right up on the front rail the entire show back when they allowed that in arenas. Robin Crosby saw that I knew all the words to the songs and tried to get a pick to me a few times. Never got one as they just flew by or someone else snagged it, but he tried. Thanks Robin. RIP Robin.
I have to say this performance is impressive as heck. The band is tight. They obviously put real effort into getting ready for the shows. They are actually tighter on some songs than they were in the 80s because, well, in the 80s, at times it became obvious that some of the band (actually not Robin) started the after-party a little too early. Slip of the lip is a little rough. But that's a hard one to reproduce live.
Stephens vocals are pretty impressive in most songs. He knows the words. Sounds pretty good. A little rough on some songs. But darn good on the classics. I'll go see these guys again if they come through where I am.
A good show. All the songs you loved if you grew up in the 80s a RATT fan. Loved hearing "Way cool jr" in 2nd song of set.
WCJr. is my wife's favorite song of theirs. I love how "back the 80's" voice SP had for the last song of the set, Round and Round. Listen to his voice especially right in the beginning. It sounded like it did back in the mid 80's. Seriously. Rock on!
Why isn't the drummer being discussed more? Love Blotzer and all - this dude is grooving on the drums! I'm impressed!

The two guitarists are pretty incredible. The tandem of Crosby and DeMartini is not an easy act to follow, but these guys pull it off in spades.
And they look so young. Well, to me they do. They look like college kids. 😉
I have a friend that moved out to LA many years ago that is a great musician and was a part of some big names in the game. He went through a break up with his wife that hurt him badly so I went out to help in through it. We went over to Steve’s house for something and he was real down to earth. He actually offered a smoke, wink wink, but I couldn’t because I was going off to the service shortly and didn’t need to fail a test. Great great man.
I have been hearing that a lot about Stephen P., that he is a down-to-earth guy. I think it would be cool to hang out with him for a little while just to chat. I wish I could've purchased a meet-n-greet, but it wasn't offered at this show. Maybe some day. Thanks for sharing.

Go Stephen! Stay healthy, keep reaching out to the original guys, and do your thing. I like the band, but need Warren to really be Ratt to me. But in the meantime, good deal!
Yes please. Some of the originals don't really want to play anymore. I wonder why..... maybe because they too are in their 60's?
Warren is a pain in the fucking ass who hates touring, enjoy Stephen, Juan and the boys while we can, the guys are getting old
Funny story.....way back in the day when Ratt just started touring for the first time, there was a write up in the local newspaper about a concert coming up......the band's name was Rattpoison.
No one had ever heard of the band, and me and my friends stayed home. The next day we heard it was Ratt and Poison that we missed.....
I saw Ratt w/Poison opening on 7-08-87 in Topeka, KS at the ExpoCenter. 1st concert I ever went to.
@@gierhead66 same. Tour that is. Dancing undercover tour.
Stephen sounds great!
how many bands from the 80's can say will rock you forever and still do!! ratt does !!!!
Very true! Of course as we get older we slow down, but if I were in their shoes, I would want to rock for as long as God lets me.
They still sound great!!!
And Stephen's voice still rocks!
I enjoyed this video so much! Outstanding recording and posting. The band sounded so tight and spot on. I wanted to see the first songs and ended up seeing the whole show!
I am glad you enjoyed the show. Thanks for the kind words. Appreciated.
Same here tonight
Rattは私の青春でした。歳を重ねてもカッコいい!
ラットは、私たちが何歳になっても常に素晴らしいでしょう。ロックオン!
We pray for Stephen Pearcy that he can recover from liver cancer. He sounded good and he went to take care of his vocals. I am glad he is out there instead sitting down although it's tough . Stephen if you are reading this. We have our prayers and for the doctors to have good. wisdom .
Very nicely said.
Pearcy looks AWESOME!!! Praying for the guy. I’m so glad this is on here. Thanks for sharing. I wanted to go but had vacation plans.
No problem. Glad I could post this for as many as possible Ratt fans to enjoy! Rock On! Keep the prayers coming.
WOW!!!! Stephen still has it, sounds and looks as sexy at 66 as he did the first time I fell for him the first glimpse of Round and Round...waited and waited for them to come to Edmonton 😞
@@shelleysikorski2366 The thumbs up is for your comments on SP. LOL But I am sad for you that he never showed for you in Edmonton. Hopefully some day. 🤘
My first rock concert was Bon Jovi opening for RATT in Dec 8, 1985 baby.
Nice! Never saw Bon Jovi. But I did see Motley Crue back in the day. Keep rockin!
My first rock concert was Mountain and Blackfoot opening for Ratt, Sep. 1984
If I recall I saw Ratt open up for Ozzy in Montreal. Can't remember the year, but they were just about to hit it big.
@@peterpickguitar Ozzy can also still bring it! ROCK ON!
He came out to the USS Nimitz one year, 05 I think, and I sang Lay It Down with him. When I saw Ratt at Monsters of Rock at Castle Donington in 84 I would have never been able to talk to him.
THIS VIDEO TOTALLY SERVED OUR PURPOSES !!!! My wife and I have these little get togethers where we put together Rock festivals using these You Tube concerts. Its Labor day and the way this was filmed made us feel like we really were at a rock festival. Loved the still shots of the fair and the staging. I wish more people would do that. Thanks for a great video . You really made out day !!!
That sounds awesome! I am glad to help. Keep rockin'. Ratt and Roll baby!! 🤘
