  • I've had questions about my handmade Initial Stamp, so I'm showing how I made it today. All you need is some scrap clay ( translucent Liquid Sculpey - TLS ). a bit of liquid clay, dotting tool and Exacto blade. Because it's small it's a bit finicky , but not too hard

Thank you Patricia. Appreciate you taking the time to show how to make letter stamps. It may be simple to you, but to newbies it is brilliant!

That's such a great way to do it and if you've used string clay before you would think it would be obvious. Thanks for bringing it to light and oh a roller!!!!!! Excellent!!!

What a lovely tutorial! Thanks for sharing it with us. The picture you showed in the beginning was amazing. You are really a proper artist. I love seeing your work--your pieces are very inspiring, not to mention humbling. Would you mind sharing some of your techniques for making bracelets and flowers? I always love seeing the bracelets you are wearing (e.g., bead woven one you wore today) and I noticed the flowers on your art piece. Oh well--I guess I'm just plain impressed with the variety of projects you show and the expertise you share. So thanks again! (Maybe two a week...?? Sorry, I can't help myself.)

Thank you! I have a few more things to show planned. No beadwork, though, these are from other peoples patterns- some from the internet, some from magazines.- Not mine to share. I will be doing a bracelet one sometime, again I won't be showing techniques that " belong " to other people. 2 videos a week? Ummm, no Smiles!!

So happy you are kind enough to share your work. BTW, I was just complimenting you on the lovely bracelet (I'm a beader too!), Patricia. I love that you share such practical (and pretty and useful) techniques with us. You are very generous to share what you do; I just love quality and know it when I see it.

This is neat. I have been meaning to make something like this but using my clay extruder for the thin lines and also using my whole name instead of just initials. It should be fun to try. I just worry with initials that it is too common - either of mine I could use depending on whether I used my real name or business name would be HLG or NPD. I am sure other people/companies probably have those initials as well. - Heidi

I thought of something like that, but it would take up too much space on my jewelry pieces- so , just the initials for me

I have been fiddling with this idea for a while now. I have settled on using my initials, but making them into more of a logo type thing. what I couldn't figure out was how to make the stamp. so, thanks for the video! when you picked up the letters, you painted the base with a liquid, which I presume is some kind of slip (I'm just moving to polymer clay from ceramic, having lost access to my kiln), but you used some initials - what was the product name please?
