- Hey Foodies! Aquafaba - a.k.a Chickpea water is a great substitute for eggs as it whips up into a frothy meringue like mix when beaten. It's a great alternative to egg-based mayonnaise. This homemade vegan mayonnaise is amazing, healthy and easy to do.

What if mine is still liquidy, should I add more chickpeas to thicken it up
Wow! Thank you! By the way, may I know how long is the shelf life for this in the fridge? 😊
You're welcome! Its good for 5-7 days 😊
❤❤❤
If you throw some freshly minced garlic in this you'll make the most delightful vegan aioli :3
Yes, definitely 😊 happy cooking! 😊
Sounds tasty though classic aioli is generally already vegan😊
Meron po bang pwedeng substitute sa oil? No oil plant based po Kasi ako. Thanks for the reply.

Hi, I made it and I failed so I’m wondering what’s the key to success? First, I cooked my chickpeas then seperated the chickpeas and the aquafaba (I didn’t use canned chickpeas). Put the aquafaba in the fridge -> Brought it out when it was not that cold -> Added 200ml of aquafaba + 1 tbsp of chickpeas + salt + lemon juices then blend the mixture -> Added more than 100ml of olive oil ( My blender only have 1 speed so I can’t slow it down:)))) I blended the mixture but I was just so runny? I’m so confused:((( I know I didn’t stick much to the recipe but I don’t want the mayo to have too much oil. Is it because I added too little oil? Or it’s because I added the salt straight in the mixture? Now, what should I do with the runny mixture (It’s like milk:)))))
Hi, I made a mistake too at first, yes it will be needing a lot of oil (choose the healthy one) so if you'll be needing a about a bottle or two, you may reduce the qty of aquafaba. You'll also need to chill this to thicken a bit.
@@HealthyFoodiePH Thank you!!
Hi, I added olive oil and it tasted bitter? And my mayo is yellow instead of white?:((((
Hi, it will also depend on the quality of olive oil, extra virgin olive oil will make it yellowish
Any one tried making this using nutribullet?
Looks good!
himalayan salt contains lead though
Oh nooooo
Can i use extra virgin olive oil
Hi, yes you may use that but the flavor will be a bit different since extra virgin oil has a pungent aroma
I try to make for my boss....
Face reveal when you hit 100k HAHAHA
😅😅😅😅😅😅
Hello! I love your videos! I tried this recipe, except I used vegetable oil. It turned out great! Problem is, I put it in the fridge after...it became like butter the next day 😅 When it melted, it's just oil. 😭 Was it a mistake to put it in the fridge?
Hi, thank you so much for trying this recipe, yes it's in the oil, it should be thicken when you place it in the fridge :)
@@HealthyFoodiePH Thanks for replying! So, I shouldn't put it in the fridge next time? Or should I just use grapeseed oil?
Yes,kindky change the oil, you can still put it in the fridge for proper storage :)
I guess I'll try it again. Thank you so much! 💚
@@hannaholano5164 you're welcome!:)
