AFK Chron Canoe Earth Runecrafting | F2P UIM Skilling Reference

This method is just like the more efficient 2 tick essence chron canoe earth method, but instead you just afk the rune essence rock with a rune pickaxe (3 tick mining). You spawn at the chronicle spot, run to Aubury to access the essence mine, mine an inventory of rune essence, run to the earth altar, and craft the runes. The biggest thing with afk is setting up your camera in a way which requires as little clicking as possible to get to your destination. Using runelite's larger render distance and pointing the camera to the northeast is what I found to be best for afking.
AFK with run restore I got around 4.25k per hour. Without run restore its just under 4k per hour.
Quest Requirements: Rune Mysteries
Gear: Earth tiara, rune pickaxe, chronicle
Inventory: Axe
For runecrafting, it's perfectly okay to not train this skill efficiently. Most ironmen with 99+ runecrafting have done so very slowly through afk methods, which is a bit slower but much more sustainable over the long run. This is a 3000 hour skill, so train it in whichever way gets you better gains in the long run.
