A "pick up all 'exp bubbles'" button is amazing for a game like this.
Tie it in as a level reward, and its suprisingly balanced.

I love all these games. I've heard that Vampire Survivors isn't actually the first game like this, but it's certainly the one that lit the fire that the gaming industry is on.
well technically it is the first LIKE this one in particular but the "genre starter" was magic survival
I just wished that VS didn't overheat my phone... you'd think the iPhone 14 pro wouldn't overheat due to such a simple game... but I guess that's my fault for putting faith in Apple

If you don't have "death by thousand hammers" synergy, you won't recover the HP except wasting level-up for restoring 100 points. Even so, you need to hit people with darts, 5% of dart damage converts into HP gain. That'll be very slow . For the spell character I didn't find any synergies for HP gain, only their shield is high.

I was a little sad that you ended up not creating an unstoppable army of summons to eat the hordes of enemies alive
And people from the isekai world say the slimes are just a bunch of harmless creatures that basically give you free xp...

Me with a couple hours into the game with a bunch of achievements achieved and certain characters' skin unlocked but need to finish it for satisfy that fulfilling part in my brain: "Yeah, it's pretty engaging."

Unique astetic,looks likeit has lots of content, and lotsif new mechanic and synergie approaches.
I dunno if DF was just lucky, or if he cut them out, but 1 out of 3 runs fully froze the game for me. I could barely play due to those. Refunded it until there's a lot more patches out.

@@Lycaran That's one of the ones it reminded me of. The other one was Pagumon
I think it's called "purring" . Because an advice from loading screen cat told me "don't come too close to the purrings, or else they're going to surround you" smaller non-boss versions of those became red and very fast once I touched them with anything and if I'm not attentive enough either fast enough, I get surrounded by those.
