    Yes that’s it! I want to watch 6 hours of the Stitch Sisters!!! I’m going on vacation until mid-December and won’t be able to sew, so you’ll be my airplane buddies and “escape to our room” for quiet time class. I’ll be so pumped to get started on sewing shirts when I get back that I’ll probably binge sew for a week. Hugs from Oregon. Going over to the website to purchase the class now....

      @@StitchSisters Ohoooo - that makes me so happy. You know what that amazing man is doing right now? He's building me a whole new SEWING ROOM! It probably won't be done by Saturday when we leave, but he's trying! I'll have a ton more storage. We took the carpeting out of our home and replaced it with wood laminate flooring so I can now ROLL around the floor. So exciting. So looking forward to your Christmas Vlogmas videos. The British TV commercials for Christmas are AMAZING. I just saw the one for ASDA. So imaginative. So excited for you to follow us on our trip. Hope to see you next year as well!

    Hey girls! The class looks great. I definitely need a hand holding for a shirt project I have in mind. I sewed as a young teen, then got into quilting. Last year I found you two and have been so inspired. Not only to sew, but it rekindled my interested in fashion that went dormant in my mommy years. Kids are grown and I'm now a bit lost when it comes to fashion and looking good in everyday wear. I work from home so I tend to not invest in clothes. I have a Butterick B6593 pattern and a Simplicity s8872 dress pattern that I want to make so this will help tremendously! Good work. Thanks for the hard work. YAY!

    How Fantastic! I have made a few shirts and am definitely want to “to up my game” and learn some alternative techniques for fiddly bits like collar stands and cuff plackets. I am really excited about this!
    .........and I do love topstitching too☺️

    I’m definitely doing this class! I really want to make a competent shirt now that I have a great buttonholer on my machine. My husband would be over the moon if I made him a shirt!

    I'm excited to make shirts for my partner in 2020 and once I've mastered that I'll be moving on to suits for him. I loved your overlocker class so I'm keen to try the shirt class.

    Brilliant! I’m making my hubby a shirt for Yule which he knows about (plus one he doesn’t 😉). Yes, I agree with you, I love the precision sewing. With shirts, you can also change tiny precision details, add a different yoke or inner yoke or collar stand or inner cuff or buttonhole colour... or, or... Thanks for this.

    I want to put a few of your classes on my wish list, but I am in America. Will that make purchasing things more complicated? I didn't not see a conversion on the main site, and wasn't feeling brave enough to try to do a faux check out to see if it is there or not. I do enjoy your videos!

    • @StitchSisters
      @StitchSisters  Před 4 lety +1

      Hi Michele, our payment provider PayPal takes care of conversion between Dollar and Pounds (or any other) so you don’t need to worry. We have lots of people buying from us all around the world and that’s part of the beauty of the classes being online.
      If we can help with anything else let us know.😘

    Even I already did one shirt for my grandson, I am excited to see your class. Bc to make a shirt out of scraps for a child is nothing in comparison to make one out of a cute or lovely fabric for myself, anxious to ruin it.

    can i ask i have bought this class and would like to use the pattern you lovely ladies used can you confim what pattern it is i need to buy thanks girls

    • @StitchSisters
      @StitchSisters  Před 4 lety +1

      Of course, it's actually a hybrid of two though. You can use any shirt pattern you like, but we used most of McCalls 7838 and the sleeve/cuff of Vogue 8772. One of the earlier lessons will talk about the patterns, and one of the bonus lessons at the end discusses how to switch between patterns. We are really grateful you purchased the class, thank you ❤️

    Does the class cover a full bust adjustment for the shirt!

    • @StitchSisters
      @StitchSisters  Před 4 lety +1

      No it doesn’t as we concentrate on construction but we do have a separate class on Bust Adjustments that would cover everything you needed.

      No but we cover full bust adjustment fully in our Definitive Guide To Bust Adjustments class. This covers how to do a bust adjustment on loads of bodice types

    • @nevaolaughlin6866
      @nevaolaughlin6866 Před 3 lety

      @@StitchSisters if I’m sewing for my soon to be daughter-in-law who is 4’9” and has a 45” bust and wants a flannel/plaid shirt with buttons is your fba the best class to take? Or.....do I take them both? I am on the other end of the spectrum(5’11” 35 bust) so I consider this a challenge. She says she would love a shirt that sits at her actual shoulder and not halfway down her arm. She’s not large elsewhere-- I’ve sewen for years but these adjustments are perplexing to me. Do I measure for her shoulders and arm length? Do an fba or a pattern that offers bigger bust sizes.? I am not opposed to a class and buttons don’t bother me but I am trying to figure out fit for her and still have a garment she’s wear.
