      An innocent man wouldn't be giving multiple press releases over the years. He should shut up and move on instead of trying to come back into the limelight every now and then when he needs a bit of cash to be invited onto tv shows to 'explain' his press releases ...
      It's a game too many people know for it to work anymore.

    As someone who has been falsely accused of something I never did, I can understand the frustration and anger, however with him, and how he's treated other people when he was in Celebrity big brother, and how he handled the situation with this man's death wasn't normal. You don't run away from a crime scene if you've done nothing wrong. You also call an ambulance STRAIGHT AWAY. I thought that was obvious and a basic instinct in decent people? Was he drunk doing this speech? I thought he'd got sober? I dunno, I just don't like his arrogance and the way he always talks about himself. Somethings not right

    If you invite strangers to your property it is YOUR responsibility to check on their well being. It’s just not normal. To find out down the line he wasn’t even at the crime scene just also shows 2 things - A) how little care he had to life and more to career, B) about 95% certain he MUST know or have an idea of who did it.

  • @shanehurleyrock
    @shanehurleyrock Před 2 lety +7

    Some people when faced with fight or flight choose the latter. I've always been conflicted with this case as his kindness to younger and older people through his career is in complete opposition to the hanous act that happened. His compassion for people he consistently showed throughout his life is so in odds to what happened that night that I just struggle to understand how a person like that could do something like that.
    I was also asked to give a witness statement once by the Gardai (Ireland) and they used it against me to try me by association and I got equal punishment to the person who vandalised a house. It was my 1st and only offence so just had to pay a fine but still I learned police can't always be trusted.
    How his life spiraled and his sanity worsened is a combination of addiction and trauma, imo. Two things I've spent my life overcoming. If I were innocent of something and went through what he went through, I'd be confident I'd never appear to be the same ever again.
    Am I wrong for feeling this way? Maybe I am but I'm just putting it out there because I'm frustrated with myself. I still can't look at this guy and be able to condem him if the law can't do so.

    • @anthonywebb7570
      @anthonywebb7570 Před 2 lety +4

      If the information was out there, that he was in a certain place in the house and had nothing to do with Stuart Lubbocks death, I'm sure Barrymore would want it known but I've not seen or heard any such description of the nights events.
      All I've heard him say is that he is not a murderer.
      Why say that if you're completely innocent.
      If I'd rubbed cocaine in Stuart Lubbocks gums and got him intoxicated with other drugs and then he ended up in my pool dead, then in my defence I'd say, I'm not a murderer. Meaning, whatever I did, I didn't mean for him to die
      And that's what I believe Barrymore means when he says just that.

    • @vickifriend9285
      @vickifriend9285 Před 10 měsíci +1

      What else would you suggest he say if he’s ‘not a murderer’ IF I’D rubbed cocaine into …… How do you know he did that? You don’t. You have the ‘word’ of a guest at the ‘ party’, which it wasn’t. You have no idea of the dynamics of either of them. The law deals with facts, gossips deal with gossip.

    I think he’s innocent for the following reasons. 1: the taxi driver said he was so drunk on the way home he was practically unconscious. The taxi driver was concerned those people were gatecrashing his house. 2: if he was guilty, he’d be playing a very dangerous game by staying in the public eye. 3: I believe he ran from his house in panic because he knew what a scandal it would be for an itv entertainer. But I have little doubt that man was murdered and assaulted. I personally think it was the bin man - forgot his name - who was at the party.
