Yet these teams have no problem with Aroldis Chapman, Tim Anderson, and many others.
What did Tim Anderson do?
What did Tim Anderson do? He didn’t hit woman.
You just had to add Tim Anderson, because he’s an African American I guess? Dude cheated on his wife but he didn’t SA or beat on a female. Also remember he’s a free agent so your comment is pointless
Yep. Bauer supporters are always a stones throw from racism and misogyny.@@DMVBLACK
Tim never hit a woman and Chapman hasn’t been in any controversy since
What I also think is Manfred is putting a bug in every team's ear saying don't sign Bauer.
if he's caught doing that it's just as bad as insider trading--we could finally be done with MANFRED! That would be a massive change for the better
@@VoidStaredBack It's called Slander, which is illegal. We also have that issue in the trucking industry
@@VoidStaredBack But Bitchfred needs to be held accountable
It’s always a conspiracy! It’s not that he has open allegations and pending lawsuits, or can’t keep his dang mouth shut, or makes the teams he plays for have to deal with his antics. How he has barely showed any self reflection on any of this.
He is not entitled to pitch in the MLB. Manfred and MLB are also not black listing him. It is just that he is such a toxic person that no team wants to stick their neck out to deal with his next scandal. That ain’t worth 180 IP of 4.30 ERA ball.
manfraud is a fucking joke
Manfred has banned him unofficially. He just let it be known under the table. Hopefully all those people get accused of something they didn't do. Total bs
Cut it with conspiracy theories, nobody wants wants him because he’s a cancer in the locker room and has a big mouth, end of story!!
It's about the sticky stuff.
Bauer should sue Manfred and MLB. This is unacceptable he was judged on accusations which were proved false. Doesn't anyone remember the Duke lacrosse team who were at first crucified the exonerated after the truth came out? Trevor was punished on false accusations. Pitiful.
Total BS
@@user-co7fb6qe5w its not about the sexual stuff. its his actions before all that
If you continue to give Julio Urias chances, Trevor Bauer definitely deserves a second chance.

Always the case. Self fulfilling prophecy.
Pretty much. We’re already screaming for a team to sign him
@@DieHarder4ever He can always go play in Cuba! They probably have a stricter punishment if he tries that crap over there though!
It's not any PR backlash. He embarrassed the league over the foreign substance stuff so now he's blacklisted.
People have completely forgotten this. That was what this blacklisting was always about from the start. Bauer was the main driving force behind highlighting the sticky stuff controversy. Pissed off the league, players association, and likely a lot of other pitchers. Also can't forget that Bauer and Gerrit Cole absolutely hate each other, and Cole is a major voice in the players' union. The fact the girl was a Padres groupie and was with Tatis previously makes me wonder if she was potentially a honey pot. Bauer upset a lot of powerful people, which is why he won't be in the league.
@@irvinglambert9316yes. Pissed off lots of ppl across MLB with sticky stuff. There is definitely a blacklisting from the league. MLB teams are cutthroat opportunists. One of them would make him at least a long reliever with his talent and work ethic. ZERO spring training invites?! That's the league office's doing. I hate MLB.
They are very selective in the bad acts and actors they choose to punish. That could become a legal issue. Playing God can have a price.
MLB is disgraceful for this. Bauer would be an exceptional add to any team.
The dude has baggage, no one wants to touch that.
So MLB should support abusive behavior🤨

Free Bauer I think the reds should sign him
They should but they said they didn’t want to
And how many games will they lose this year because of substandard starting pitching? Without Bauer, more than they should.
I completely agree! The Reds are dying for seasoned starting pitchers
Get em pirates. We could use the pitching badly
There is one single thing that the Buccos could use and that is a new ownership!
Makes too much sense. They sign Chapman for $10.5MM for 50 innings but could spend $750K for 200 of Cy Young innings. Bauer would be great for the young pitching staff also. Dude is a CY winner and pitched in WS.

I have been very vocal with the Giants, who desperately need pitching, to sign him. There are very few angels in the MLB

Absolutely ! He has pitching coach value as well with his Engineering analytical approach. The Angel ownership and leadership are to obedient and behind the curve of thought.

Why doesn’t he go and do another tour in Japan. I get that MLB is his dream and where he belongs, but he was so beloved in Japan and his vlogs and videos were the best when he was there. He could really help the Baystars again after they lost Imanaga to the Cubs.

Bro, I love the Pirates. It’s not easy. The fact that they could have this top pitcher who could help us with a possible playoff push (unlikely I know don’t make fun, I already said I’m a pirates fan) and they won’t even sign him? That pisses me off.
No you dont meathead
No you dont
Phillies should take a flyer on Bauer. Imagine that rotation with Wheeler, Nola, Bauer, Ranger Suarez and Taijuan Walker. Jeez.
He seems like he’s remorseful. I hope he gets another chance. But if he screws up, he’s going to have that scarlet letter tattooed on forever.
MLB absolutely needs him in the game. He also needs to sue them for defamation false accusations. He’s trying to change the game you’re shooting the messenger. Crazy.
I think it's less the MLB canceling him and more the team owners and players saying he's not worth the negative fallout or bad reputation he brings. I mean, if the Oakland A's didn't pick him up when he was super-cheap (pre-Japan), no team is going to want to risk it. It hurts team promotional deals, marketing, branding, community reputation, etc. For instance, the Dodgers would never re-sign him, especially now that they have Ohtani, simply because Ohtani's people wouldn't want him answering questions about Bauer as they'd fear it might impact on Ohtani's reputation and earnings. So yeah, Bauer's probably done in the MLB, but it's coming more from the team management and player leadership groups worried about protecting their own investments than anything else. Bauer will never throw another pitch in MLB.
Maybe the Astros should sign him, everybody already seems to hate them, so what difference would it make?
Agreed!! As an Astros fan I would love it.
If they are adding Baur I would say add Osuna as well. Only 29 at the start of the season and since 2021 he has thrown a minimum of 45+ innings. A bullpen of Osuna, Abreu, Pressly, and Hader. Then throw in a rotation of Verlander, Baur, Valdez, and Javier. Yea I would be VERY HAPPY with that.
You just know Theo tagged that vixen.
No he “chatted with her and got her an Uber”. Sure Theo…sure.
The Royals, Pirates, Reds, Brewers....etc....are they nuts.....no way they can go wrong in signing him
Rockies fan here and I hope they're paying attention to this.
Same here. They could get a fantastic pitcher for the minimum. What’s the worst that could happen? They lose 100+ games again? Well worth the risk.
I think the reason he's not getting offers has more to do with him calling out MLB than with what he was accused of.
110%. Potential backlash isn't the concern. I'm not even sure there would be any backlash. Unless mlb paid people to protest lol
bingo.

I'd love the Mets to take a chance on Bauer maybe try and "Rehabilitate" his image.. i liked his Japan Vlogs and I'm very intrested in whats going to happen to him this season.
Why? Do you remember what he did to us? He can't pitch without cheating and beats.up chicks. F him.
I hope Bauer gets a second chance but I'm not sure it'll come. Above the PR that would come I think what hurts him the most is his first impression. While he was good there were also stories of how clubhouses didn't really like him and some of his antics. I'm sure he's matured but I feel the old memory makes teams not want to even try to see if the well is still good.
The worst part is that he was innocent no crime was committed so that fact that teams still won’t sign is just disgraceful and if he was willing to sign at the league min Dodgers 👀👀👀
Good points
its not about the court stuff
Hear me out. As a stros fan ik bauer has said some things about our team but if they can let bygones be bygones I think bauer as an astro would be great for the team. Like he's controversial and astros are controversial it's a perfect match if u ask me.
I agree. I would love it.
I don't understand how no teams have not given him a chance. It's a win win for both him and the team. Damn, I'd sign him in a second.
geezus someone sign this guy. I wish it would be the Cards but they are cowards.
True. Our rotation isn't good enough at all. And adding a cy young winner at league min to push out matz or Gibson would be enough to have confidence in the pitching staff. Grey, Bauer, mikolas, lynn, matz/Gibson is very least nlcs caliber. Dodgers are dodgers this year so that's hard to compare to for anyone. Over a billion dollar rotation
4:45 Trevor says it very clearly right here. He expects a team to work with him on an incentive laden deal that would pay him top dollar if he is a top performer. Not many teams are looking to pay that much money even for a top performer. He will most likely need to take a deal for the minimum and no incentives. If he can then go out and prove he is a good teammate and top performer, a team will pay him big time!
None of what you said makes any sense.
He has more money than he'll ever know what to do with!! Didn't he sign a multi MILLION dollar contract with the Dodgers?? He was a millionaire PRIOR to him signing with the Dodgers. He should play for FREE
It shows that none of the 30 teams are committed to winning. A #1 or #2 starter for league minimum? That's a no brainer.
At best he wins what 20 games for a club? How many games would he cost them for with the sideshow that seems to follow him everywhere he goes? Let's remember owners want to make money first and if there's any negative pr they dont want that
Lots of "Bad Boys" - Bauer, Clevenger, Anderson, Puig - I agree with 2nd chances, with a short leash and incentive-based, "immediate cut" contracts & no media contact allowed.
Really hoping to see him get signed. Was hoping the Astros would give em a shot but I don't think anyone will even give em a 1 season contract at this point. Very unfair situation. Teams at the bottom have 0 excuse not to atleast give em a shot. He is a top tier pitcher getting pushed out during his prime.
I wish stl would sign him. Everyone nows our rotation isn't good enough. Any potential problems he has, you're putting him in a rotation with sonny, lance Lynn, miles mikolas. Those guys will keep him in line. Vocal guys that don't put up with bullshit and push everyone to be better. If Trevor started to even resemble a problem there are 5 to 7 guys that would "bully" him into being better.
Me n a couple of my friends have been sending the Phillies front office letters asking to sign him for about 2 months now…. This shit is saaaaad🤣🤣 it would be such a steal considering how cheap his contract would be
He's literally on Instagram less than a month ago congratulating a US soldier for getting away with killing 2 ppl in Japan, when he still could need a job there😂🤨 why would you want to kill the good vibe Philly has with their current team.
The Astros need to pick this dude up. They are already the villains. Embrace the roll to the fullest.
I agree.
There’s no way we ban Trev and let Domingo Herman have a chance to play baseball again
Trevor welcomed home a guy for getting away with killing 2 ppl in Japan just a couple weeks ago💀why tf are y'all acting like Bauer is a saint outside of the allegations
The guy fell asleep behind the wheel and caused a fatal car accident. He wasn’t drinking. He was driving his family back from a vacation. And he went to prison in Japan for it. He didn’t “get away” with anything. He made a mistake and paid dearly for it. Good grief.
#FreeTrevor
He is EXACTLY the reclamation project Boston looks for, needs and when paired with another pitcher, could fix their off-season, if they had any guts at all.
Yamamoto, Buehler, Glasnow, Miller, Kershaw and Bauer would be a pretty dam good starting line up. Dodgers have already spent billions, why not give him another chance. The backlash will be tiny compared to the Ohtani and Yamamoto signings craze. Like he said it’s low risk high reward. Especially by getting Bauer on a super cheap incentives based contract.
NO CAP
Yankees please sign this man
100%+
Angels and padres would definitely benefit from someone like bauer.
Angels need an ace right now and for someone to lead the staff. Padres could use a solid starter to reinforce their rotation. I cant think of 1 team that wouldn't significantly regret signing him for league minimum
I think the Braves should give him a chance. Because is a great arm talent and the Braves have a culture of respect and public image and they could keep him on the straight and narrow and he will give them more depth especially in the playoffs
He absolutely needs to sue the MLB for what they have done to him.
Its tougher when you're in a union im not even sure the players union would let you
What did they do to him? Suspend him under the policy the MLBPA agreed to, and let him appeal it? The MLBPA has filed no grievance on Bauer’s behalf and until they do, it ain’t a conspiracy.
The fact is no owner has signed him. I can think of many reasons why. Pending lawsuits and outstanding allegations, patterns of behavior that he has shown zero remorse for. I get that he’s the patron saint of internet trolls, but in the real world that kind of behavior isn’t rewarded.
@@pyramidsong Exactly. The people simping for Bauer don't understand basic business principles. A guy that spent 15 years in prison for embezzling money from the cash register he was entrusted with can't sue retail chains because they won't hire him due to his troubled history. MLB is a business, that is simply refusing to hire a player who has proven he is more trouble than he's worth.
@@1977TA When did Bauer spend time in prison?
If I was Bauer I'd say fugg the MLB and just stay in Japan. Wouldn't bend over backwards for people that don't want me.
Absolutely! Japan gave him the chance he deserved, and MLB isn't going to do that. When there are so many elite Japanese pitchers wanting to go to MLB, a great American pitcher wanting to stay in Japan will mean a lot.
Funny thing is, he's already started to burn brudges in Japan too lol
This really makes me hate MLB and how the whole system is run. It’s so hypocritical, we have players on the field like Ozuna and Chapman getting opportunities and being paid millions but this guy who just wants league minimum cant be giving another opportunity after being proven innocent. It’s just pathetic and a huge joke.
They hate him for snitching on the sticky stuff.
The Rockies have a bunch of journeymen and a few others coming off of injuries. If anyone needs pitching...and a reason to sign a pitcher...give the guy 500K per win, 10k per strikeout, and put him out there! Like he said, if he screws up, cut him or send him down. Heck, start him in the minors and let him prove his way up. I'd bet he'd even go for that until the trade deadline.
Trever deserves a chance
Theo deffo hit cmon now motel lobby lmaoo
It was a really good interview with Theo Von.
Also, my theory is that he won't get signed until at least partway through spring break, if not after the regular season has already started.
I hope he does play somewhere though
Back to Japan? I thought for sure he was going to get signed.
Let's look at it on a sporting side, leaving all his bad PR and reputation for being a headache aside. He's not what people who only watch MLB think he is. He was the 3rd starter, the 3rd arm for the BayStars, and put up pedestrian numbers while playing, there were people that also got injured before him and had better cumulative numbers, just to put it in context, and no, 2 monthly "MVPs" don't really mean anything, there's terrible players with multiple of those in the history of NPB. Then again, ask yourself, would any MLB team really want any player like that? SPECIALLY if you take into consideration the terrible PR that comes with him. Yeah, I doubt it.
Well said, you can tell who punches a timecard based on the comments here. No owner or leader would risk signing Bauer, terrible for business.
From Pete Rose to Trevor Bauer.. MLB has no problem watching lives remain in shambles. I’m rooting for you buddy 🗡️
People have a short memory. Teams like the Yankees will need pitching should go after him and sign him to a one year deal at a very reasonable price. All teams would be foolish not to take a shot with him
Well be prepared to call every team foolish cause MLB will never sign him again. Players hate him just cause they don't like his personality, the league officials hate him for heavily promoting the sticky stuff issue. He'll essentially be the Colin Kaepernick of the MLB, a player that isn't officially banned by the books and is good enough that they should be on a team, but will never be signed again due to issues the league has with them that don't even have to do with playing.
As a dodger fan who was originally hyped for him to join the dodgers, I get why teams wouldn’t take a chance with him. He’s no doubt a really good pitcher but if he gets cut, teams would have sacrificed a spot of their roster for him. Tough situation for him
A team that hit's the playoffs running usually gels around August and can really go all the way. Teams that have guys like Bauer, Machado, Bonds along with others, never really get that gel. It's a comradery thing and teams that go there feel everyone is part. With some guys teams just don't gel. Bauer is one of em
He needs to sue the shit out of the MLB. How about that.
Aroldis Chapman did worse and is still playing
Cant wait to see him on the Charros this season
tbh if he just documents playing in different countries that would be a career to see 😤
@BauerOutage

wake up, red sox. get him
Where was he winning again?
54% mentality... MLB is neutered asf...
we need to get #LetTrevorPlay trending
Right now, the only way (that I can think of) Bauer will sign with a team is if a former teammate vouches for him. Lindor and Mookie have both expressed that they like the guy (although for the latter, I don’t think the Dodgers would be convinced, even if it came from a star player).
I'd sign him in a second for a league minimum deal. As a Yankees fan, I'd love to push Nestor or Clarke into the LRP/ swingman starter role and have Bauers taking Luke Weaver's spot as the 26th man (by pay) on the roster. That would be such an incredible add. I think he'd end up getting paid more because I believe he'd perform. But there is no risk there, if he has another case that gets further along and becomes a distraction, you can just cut him for nothing, and he still has a high ceiling. I just can't understand why a team wouldn't take this shot.
I think he'd be a perfect match for the Yankees since they consistently overpay for pitching/batting and end up disappointed. If Bauer could make those fans happy with a good performance, he could make it anywhere! Give him a shot! The Yankees definitely have nothing to lose. I'd like to be a Yankee fan again. Unfortunately, they suck! Bauer could help turn that around with a performance-based contract. Make all the players earn their keep with a performance-based contract!
I think it’s ridiculous
Know what happens if a team signs him? NOTHING. It's like these teams think millions of teal-haired feminists who don't shave will riot at the stadiums.
It's not about potential backlash. The league is holding a grudge with him over his videos on his channel criticizing mlb.

No doubt in my mind MLB is keeping him out. They are after him for calling out the sticky stuff, which he made the game better and honest. The MLB wanted more offensive to improve the fans experience, well Bauer did that by calling out the cheating.
He was using sticky stuff too. He was pointing fingers at other pitchers like if he was clean. Then they came hard on every pitcher. If he truly wanted to take away cheating then why was he using the sticky stuff through the years?
I would not want him near my team. Do not need a massive distraction like that.
