Nice looking boat and nice evening sail! I use 20 minutes per 3 fingers (5 degrees) as the Sun appears to move 15 degrees per hour. That works for me, but whatever, nice video.
Would this be a good boat for someone that has never sailed but would like to learn? Does it have a small yanmar to motor in to the docks? Cool video here, wish you would post more of her sailing around them keys in Fla.
Catboats are actually trickier to sail than most. If they’re overpowered they develop wicked weather helm, and jibing them takes skill. Since they’re centerboard boats they CAN capsize. You have to know how to reef, and when. Not as simple and user friendly as they seem. Old traditional type developed by professional working watermen. But they do great in light air and have huge cockpits, and only draw a couple of feet so they can go almost anywhere (except offshore)

Depends on the wind, with a sready wind of 10MPH 5-6 Kts.
