Watching Phil and Kirstie is the best way to relax whenever I have some time👍🏻👍🏻

relax???? as you realize the house market just goes up? you must be a house owner.
True

'And he moved far, far away...... to South London'! hahaha oh dear.
@ 19:42 I agree. I wouldn't live above a Chinese (or any) restaurant, even if it was only 100K pounds, either. And, I wouldn't climb four flights of stairs.
100% agree with you. Don't live above a restaurant, you'll get all sorts of unwanted visitors, like mice and bugs.
Did I just hear what I THOUGHT I heard? “Smelly people on the underground” !!!!!!! Omg!
Agree! Delusions of grandeur much??
My thoughts exactly! The arrogance.
Power wash the front. Paint the trim. Enough to inspire the neighbours to do the same. End result shabby becomes cleaned up neighbourhood. Much more attractive!
I’m not sure it’s that easy. If people aren’t house-proud, hard to make them become people who suddenly love maintenance
Their friends are not going to keep renting in London much longer. They are getting older, having kids, needing more space, and moving out unless they are making tons of money to afford to buy (which I doubt if they are having music gigs and all that)
💯 agree
Ziggy Stardust is a great song and I thought I was the master of absolute genius names for a pet.
Always fun to watch this show, thanks for the upload!
I agree so easy to listen and watch. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💚💓🥰🤗
What a pair of charmers. Thank you for giving them a
chance at a normal life. They are going to bring so much joy to their forever homes.
I remember this episode when it was first broadcasted. I remember the style of the bathroom of the flat above the Chinese takeaway. I think this flat was refurbished with a swimming pool in the basement and was for sale last year.
I think whilst Khirstie and Phil are very good at property, the high prices vs limited supply/ budget makes it almost impossible for newbies
An especially good episode!! And I love the names of the two "rockstar cats" ... thanks for this show, Phil and Kirstie!!
She has little money to spend on a flat, but she's happy to look down her nose on the "smelly" people who are on the tube. Good job lady.
21:45 The cowhide on the floor is usually a tip-off that this is the one.
They WANT a village in London 😂😂🤣🤣😂🤣😂
If you want to have your cake and eat it too, I'm afraid you might have to forego the icing...
“Smelly people on the underground.” Cut her loose.
Sarah and Stewart two words: GROW UP!
Geez anyone would think they're moving across the country. 🙄
At 30 something Ican't imagine being so reliant on having friends right near you .
Stop acting like teenagers!
I used to live in Ealing, not far from Chiswick, and also in Hertfordshire, so I'm well acquainted with the routes around the capitol from west to north-east... For the life of me, I don't see how the awful slog around either the North Circular Rd or the M-25 is a desirable or easy commute. If they wanted village-like life, why not St Albans: 30 minutes train into London, and a heckuvalot closer to Lincolnshire? Oh well, perhaps he was contemplating changing jobs!
Heckuvalot? Are you inventing words?
Ha! 😂 Well I came in to comment how much I enjoyed your use of “heckuvalot”, made up or not. Here in the states we have a brand of cheese called Heluva Good! and I always chuckle when I see it.
@@resnonverba137 it basically means your a lot nearer to the countryside if you went as far as Lincolnshire for the kinda house they want.
@@jackie6343 Thank you. It's supposed to be written, 'a heck of a lot', hence my comment.
Bingo !
They calm me down lol
Turning her nose up at "ex council flat". Interesting attitude
That is so true
I wouldn’t live above that Chinese restaurant either - looked slummy. I doubt Kirstie or Phil would live there for three years either
But it gives them the space they need at a price they can afford. You have to compromise. You can’t get the house you want where you want on the budget you have.
I assume this is old...imagine the profit if they bought then and sold last year!
@jules2565. 2011...quite old!
It is interesting to me how so many of these people consider walking distance to pubs and restaurants to be the priority. In the US we have big homes and big yards and no one cares about pubs and restaurants. If they really want to settle down and have kids they won't be going to pubs and their friends will be moving out too.
I totally agree ,they always want a place to be together ,somewhere peaceful,in the next breath ,they want to be near shops, pubs, parks etc lol, they want it all oh and don't forget the friends🤔🤔
European people have different priorities in life. In order to get from A to B, they like to use their legs and feet if they can. This might be difficult to grasp if you've lived in a car centric suburbia all your life. You can't pay me enough to live in North American suburbia. God no.
@@ramochai I realize people live in cities. I was talking about people like them who are wanting to have a big yard and a few kids. They won't be going to pubs and restaurants like when they were single.
@@ramochai ditto for these cramped, damp little places. Lovely scenery, though.
@@thetruthisthelight0910 This episode is from nearly two decades ago. In our day we have the technology to utilize small spaces in the most efficient and aesthetically pleasing way as possible. Besides, large wood frame houses in the US suburbs don't get damp, or do they??
"Smelly people on the tube". What a snob
I agree with Sarah. London flats are hideous.
What lovely couples ..good decisions too .
That split level flat is horrible.
The yellow walls are gross
If you want it all then you have to built your own custom home...as I have done so all by myself. No need of any man! Lol
Not if you want to live in or near London, lol.
Oh not in London !!!
From north London but couldn’t see my friends because they were in south london 😂. Londoners are a different breed of people
that's not a 'londoner' thing. We generally travel right across the other side of london to see mates. They are just spoiled and pampered.
Sarah wants it all and reality bites
'Kerb' appeal. That took me aback a little, lol....in the state's it's 'curb'..
There are other countries besides the bloody USA. The rest of us do things our way thanks
Learn proper English
Spoiled Toff! "It may be for me a little bit boring" Geesh!! The most expensive city in the world and it's BORING?? Go back to your stately home! LOL. She's already plotting how much they must invest to put to kids thru Pony Club and Marlborough!
Sarah and Stuart have very unrealistic expectations. Just to put it into perspective, their criteria is similar to Matt and Louise's, but their budget is over 100k less. Like no.
I agree, especially as they live in the area, surely they KNOW their budget isn't gonna get them what they want. On one hand I'm always amazed at how well Phil and Kirstie (and the whole LLL crew) work and pull things out of the hat. On the other hand I get angry when people with what I consider unreasonable demands get what they want (especially when they get it for a lot less. I feel bad for the sellers, and want them getting what they're worth, too). I could never do this job!
Love those side burns❤️❤️❤️
I laughed at the mispelled item on the wish list, "Herb appeal" instead of curb appeal.
That's Kerb appeal. UK spelling of 'curb'. Look again.
Kerb
I went back to look and I had to super squint to see that was a k and not an h. I'm on my phone so very small font!
@@whirledpeas5717 Well I'm using a very big screen, and I thought it said "Herb"!
Such a paradox. The most expensive property for the people with the least amount of imagination and time to enjoy it. #london
Oh the idealism of youth...
..............love watching these but waaaaaaaaaaaay too many commercials, is a real turn-off. Doesn't seem like a minute goes by without having one on the heels of another. :(
That seems to be all CZcams videos now and apparently the content creators themselves have no say on how many ads there are in their videos.
Glad the flat fell through, it was awful!
Sarah is fur coat no knickers
What's up with all the garish colors?
It was 20 years ago.
What does a dating site have anything to do with it???
I no .I don't no why but these dateing sites get Everywhere !! Lol I mean it's Phil and Kirsty xx
I just reported it (not that that will stop them!).
The cat lovers should have been doing less pubbing and more saving.
Phil, he looks worried because you can't take your eyes off his girl. Wow, he can be very flirty, but I've never seen him like this. Wouldn't give the guy so much as a glance. Kirstie's her usual, great self. Thanks!
You seem to be reading Phil's behaviour in an exaggerated manner?
I think Phil is quite handsome and totally charming !
@Noelle Ewen I have SUCH a crush on him!! Lol! Every time I watch I wish I had a phil😆
@@kellyk.3855 lol yup!!
Actually I found her a bit masculine - maybe it’s the mannish voice
So sad to have to live there n a big city...
How Phil showed them that ugly flat over the chinese take away in such a disgusting area is beyond me, Muswell hill is 100 times better than Crouch end .
Coming from a real estate background I am intrigued by this series. Why is the original date of filming never noted in the written intro?? Prices are all out of whack to 2023, hence it makes current viewing quite pointless. Except if one is enamoured with Kirsty and Phil and their odd relationship, I am assuming?
Because when this was filmed and aired, they didn’t expect this to be on CZcams over a decade later. lol There was no need to date everything.
lol no need to date everything? lolz again @@thehungrygoldfish
@@franosborne8198 lol
I like seeing the older episodes to get an idea of the prices then and how crazy it has gotten now
Sara is some arrogant she reminds me of Natasha with the 1.2 million budget who didn't like anything
Why no closed captions? Kirstie and Phil are ignorant about cats. They choose ones that cats aren't safe with garage roves they can escape from and a high balcony that they can jump on and escape. Come on guys!
Roves?
Wow, the amount of psychological manipulation and nudging that these transactions require is staggering
These episodes are not from 10 months ago. Gives false impressions.
It was uploaded on CZcams 10 months ago. It wasn’t filmed 10 months ago lol
A little bit boring, matts what is boring
he is just silly, a property is what it is, people can be boring ... Kirsty says her place has no 'curb appeal' but it is lovely inside & the places across the street are good to look at ...
So terrible that “ location is the first to loo at”
Sad people!
Shave the side burns off and then you will forget your london band playing rubbish
the buyers have to meet their next door neighbors before they buy. The next door might be a real A HOLE who would make their lives miserable.
For a show called Location Location Location one might think they'd know enough to not show places in ugly areas over Chinese food places. While one can always sink money into any place, resale is affected by curb appeal and location. That constant refrain of, "if they can just get past the outside" is bad advice.
No one has to buy a property based solely on what is for sale during a few day span, yet each show is presented as if both the buyer and the audience are that dumb. The constant refrain about the NEED to get on the property ladder keeps over looking the fact that these people who are renting have been able to both rent AND save.
Encouraging these people to even consider properties that can never be nice, or can be nice but are not located in nice areas is just wrong. So many of the people they are advising, are people who have been too busy to look on their own. It makes no sense to then show them places where entire kitchens or bathrooms need to be redone, or walls taken down and extensions added. These are people who need a ready to move in property.
There is always the problem of the buyers wanting more than they can afford. Even back in the early 2000s, when many of these shows were filmed, everyone could look and see what property was going for. Even after the awful places shown in order to "educate" their buyers, isn't it amazing how often they end up finding almost precisely what they just told the buyer was impossible? Again, viewing audiences are not as dumb as this show constantly assumes they are!
Nah. No one's asking them to buy property. Remember, these people *applied to be on the show* because they *know* ''what they want doesn't exist'' - it's a phrase buyers keep repeating on this show, not because they ''have been too busy to look on their own''. This show is for all those who are 1. unrealistic 2. too stuck in their ways and demands 3. afraid to take the plunge. We see this every single episode.
I don’t know what you’re talking about, the buyers are not always able to find what they’re looking for. Some of them yes but not most of them. They always have to compromise, usually it’s either price, location or condition or space.
You certainly are opinionated! Sometimes the agent has to show them what they can afford for their budget in their chosen area so they bump up against reality!
smelly people on the underground !
10/10
pretty and smart.
Kirstie must hate her the way pretty girls are being hated.
Oh come on - that’s a teenage comment - are you a 15 year old immature mean-girl?
kirstie not fan of this girl as the girl is so much prettier.
Kirstie is way prettier than that girl!! The blonde is fake. Kirstie is real. That girl is also a snob!! Her comment about smellie people on the tube proves it. 🙄
