Did you ever find an adapter that you could connect this head unit to that grey factory mico-USB plug? I know that it goes to the Media USB hub in the center console?
I never did manage to get that working. Did you happen to find a solution?
What did you end up doing with your stock head unit?
Stowed away in the garage in case this unit gives me any trouble but none so far!

Did you have to get canbus decoder? Can you control HVAC using this screen?
I didn't but did look into it. No control of HVAC on the unit and the big drawback for me was the loss of the reverse camera.
