I applied for my EAD through normal processing on April 13, 2024. Recently, I received a job offer but haven't received my EAD approval or card yet, so I decided to upgrade to premium processing on July 30, 2024. I can now see the premium processing case on my account, but I haven't received a new receipt or anything.
I did receive two emails on July 30, one confirming the payment and the other stating that my case has been upgraded to premium processing. I also filled out the I-907 form online. Here are my questions:
Do I need to mail the I-907 form to USCIS even though I filled it out online?
Is it normal not to receive a new receipt when upgrading to premium processing?
I can’t see any progress timeline under my premium processing case like I could with the normal processing case. Is this expected?
Any insights would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

      1. If you have already submitted Form I-907 online, there is no need to mail a paper copy as well. Doing so could potentially cause confusion or delays in processing.

      2.
The emails you received confirming payment and case upgrade to premium processing are valid indicators that USCIS has processed your Form I-907 request. The receipt notice may still be on its way to you via regular mail.
Wait a few more days, as mail delivery times can vary. Check your USCIS online account for any updates or downloadable receipts. Contact USCIS directly if you haven't received a physical notice after 2-3 weeks.

      3. Premium processing requests are typically processed within 15 business days (about 3 weeks) from the date USCIS receives the Form I-907.
The online system may not update as quickly as the actual processing occurs, especially for premium processing cases which are handled more rapidly.
Even if your online account doesn't show progress, the emails you received confirming payment and case upgrade to premium processing are valid indicators that your request is being processed.
USCIS guarantees a response within the premium processing timeframe, which could be an approval, denial, request for evidence (RFE), or notice of intent to deny (NOID).
If you filed your I-907 online, you may not see additional updates in your account until a decision is made or further action is required
