This is great! This is exactly the jumping-off point I needed. I put everything into an Adjustment Layer so it would affect multiple layers below it. For the scale up you have to do, I put the whole stack in a nested sequence!

Amazing tutorial. I only get one issue, when I add "channel blur" and change the red to 50, my whole image disappears. Any idea why? Im just a beginner so I can't figure it out.

So created this preset but i'm having issues withy laying an image over the top, the image becomes crops and the imade doesn't show?

For some reason that "grid" video effect makes my Premiere Pro incredibly slow. Tried to follow different tutorials similar to this one, but most rely on the grid effect. I guess it's because the effect is not GPU accelerated, and running it over a 4.3k Prores Raw video takes its tall.

Yeah, when I do that it adjusts the lens distortion scale, not the image and it does not affect the cropping whatsoever.

buy a CRT from a thrift store. buy an hdmi to av or coax converter adapter. film the actual CRT Television with a camera.
