Please be careful using canned soups. Sodium is not the only consideration. Phosphorus, potassium and preservatives need to be considered also.

@@hollow9846 please check with your dr or dietician as to how much sodium you can have daily. Salt is salt no matter whether it is pink himalayan, pure or whatever. If you have CKD you need lower sodium. You can use Mrs Dash seasonings (no salt), low sodium bouillon/pastes (Minor's low sodium pastes are 140 mg for 1 tsp). There are many good no salt seasonings on the market. You can add sodium to your food but in much smaller amounts. Check with your dr or dietician.

Why didn't you toss the brocolli in the oil? Also it needed washing as did the rice.

    This is not Kidney friendly!!!!👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

What is not Kidney friendly about it, if you keep sodium to 2000 or less per day, and your only getting so much of the sodium in that can per serving that adds up to very little of that 2000 total. I eat, chicken, rice and broccoli on my CKD renal diet all the time.

@@Rspenesmit because tge cream of soup can is absolutely horrible on a renal diet this person should be showing how to leech minerals, make the soup from scratch it's super easy I use 2% milk , fat, flour. So there's NO sodium period.

Also with this kidney friendly meal you will not be able to have a full glass of water because you will have swollen feet and legs. Unless you eat very little of this meal. You will still be hungry. I will not be eating anything from Campbell soup. There are better recipes out there besides this one without any salt. Ckd people have to stay away from salt period.

@@dianehance2456 after you stop eating canned soups to me taste like crap lol Not just sodium, phosphorus and pottasium as well 11yrs I've been on dialysis I rather enjoy other foods. Everyone please read labels! If you see 1000mg or more per serving put it back on the shelf!
