I'm curious if the mall Is fully open without loading screens now. That shot of frank riding the motorcycle in paradise Plaza hopefully is a hint at that.
Well idk if this would be a spoiler or not, but after a certain moment in the game you gain access to a motorcycle indoors so I’m not sure.
Loading wise, it would be amazing to see that and would be cool as hell if we skip the loading screens, that would honestly be the devs going above and beyond at that point!
2006 Dead Rising is my favorite game of all time. One of the negatives I had of it was being stuck in the aiming position but now being able to move and aim is a huge change, and to me will make it the best and most realistic zombie game ever.

That is also true but I think that’s part of the quality of life changes
Honestly I don’t view myself using it that often just due to the exploration aspect of the game and collecting certain items for future endeavors

I might need to get this. Really the only reason I'm hesitant is I have played dead rising 1 and 2 before and find the bosses to be hard enough to make the game just not fun to me. I've never beat one of these games cause some of the bosses are just completely unfair to fight. I don't even want them to outright change this because people that loved the game to begin with shouldn't need to deal with that but I need some kind of difficulty setting or something or I won't get much out of this game. I'm tempted to go try the original again but that always goes the same with me having a bunch of fun and then getting stuck on a boss and being left wondering why the entire game can't just stay fun instead of throwing ridiculously hard bosses at you. I love this series but the difficulty of those bosses brings it down a lot for me and it's always a problem I need to think about before I buy one. Especially with this one being a remaster/remake of the original I expect it to stay exactly the way it was. I didn't have much trouble with dead rising 4 they made that one pretty easy and I never played 3 so idk how that one was as far as difficulty. But dead rising 1 and 2 I got the more recent rereleases of and completely forgot how hard they were I rage quit both of them on bosses. I don't wanna waste 60 bucks just to not finish the game cause it constantly pisses me off at every turn. the 10 they knock off of games they deem to be lower effort is a slap in the face I'm just gonna get deluxe edition if I get it I really want those resident evil outfits anyway.

The bosses are somewhat impossible to beat at early levels and since they are timed you might not be able to complete the fights let alone start them. You can feel underleveled and not have the proper items for certain bosses, but here is an important thing to remember
Just because you could kill certain bosses in your run (optional ones) doesn’t mean it’s the end of the world; this game was built up with a heavy emphasis on replayability. When you start a new run, you start with the level you finished your previous run in (but it’s not new game plus or something). so the second run you start off feeling stronger which means you can fight the bosses alittle better and you start learning the layouts of the mall and where certain items spawn.
You can for sure beat the original I believe in you! But if you feel like it’s not worth getting back into it due to complicated feelings, then don’t because if you force yourself you might even hate the idea of playing the remaster; KEEP THE HYPE UP FOR 2 MONTHS
I honestly think with how they have updated this game the 50 dollar tag is not just justified, they are really just blessing us with this and I can’t wait to get my hands on this. If they also have a physical collectors edition I might just have to buy that too 👀👀

@@suhsnow if you think that’s how you’ll decide, that’s good; I myself don’t really like reviews, I prefer atleast watching the first 5 mins gameplay or a let’s play video

@@MrMicMac11 i usually look at steam reviews instead of jumping onto the hype train. In my opinion the UI looks kinda gross. Mods will fix that and the voice acting.
Physical comes out in November of this year.
For myself I would get the digital version and would only consider a physical copy if there was a collector’s edition

I don't want weapon benchs or combo weapons. It would be waste of time and ruin the game fundamentally
they need to remove doors loading screens
They have yet to show anything with loading screens and how it is when entering and exit certain parts of the mall.
If it were to be seamless loading I would be amazed and kind of relieved because there were also indoor to indoor parts of the mall that needed loading screens in the OG game
