The trick is to let loose when the whole axe points exactly upwards. We have some smaller axes at home which aren't meant to be thrown but it still works pretty well.
I was really sad when Ragnar died but Ivar’s development kept me watching

It’s because Alex is not acting in English speaking Roles anymore. After filming Vikings he went back to Denmark, and he said he wanted to “relearn how to act in Danish” . Vikings was his first big production which revealed him to the whole world while he was still quite young , but he felt he still had more to learn as an actor. He is mostly in Danish speaking roles now and Danish tv shows . He has also co-written his own Danish sitcom. The fact that he’s chosen to continue acting in Danish sort of limits the scope of his international audience who knew him from Vikings . The shows he is on now are mostly only available in Scandinavia & Germany.

@@somwhereovertherainbow yeah I guess he just doesn't wanna live outside Denmark. I have a feeling it has to do with his family. He's free to live his life but come on now, he should be working on more important projects if you know what I mean... it's just that he's such a good actor, better than most mainstream American actors and is a waste that he straight up declines non-Danish roles 😭 I'm just sad about it because I was really looking forward to seeing him in other projects.
I watched and translated an interview with him in Danish and he said he struggled with English lines a little bit for this role and I'm like "bish where?" his English is amazing.

His acting in Vikings is crazy good. I was sad when Ragnar died and almost stopped watching the show but he kept me interested.
He is such a talented actor... I mean the entire cast of vikings are fantastic but this man is truly gifted... I hope he obtains the fame he deserves outside of vikings.
Rollos aestherics bothered me tho, everyone else lookslike a viking one way or another but Rollo looked to me more like Saxon from the beginning

Epic prank: Alec parks in a handicap spot at a place where he is scheduled to appear, maybe a convention. Gets out of the car in pain sight of everyone in full Ivar gear and crawls out and across the parking lot to the hall while the people go nuts.
(Then obviously someone moves the car after the stunt so as not to impede someone who legitimately needs the spot)

To all the people who make Vikings television show a reality, thank you for creating a timeless story well worth the time invested. The acting production cinematography set design costumes music story and writing are all phenomenal. Best acted scene from all six seasons, grown up Bjorn meets his father for the first time in years. Writing acting and sentiment gave me chills. Ivar the boneless was well acted, thanks for making me so angry! Big fan!
