Had to pause at 10:19 ish to follow along with the math. So so close, but so so wrong as well. But- it's funny what the actual outcome is. For those who are curious, (C^2) - (M^2) =/= (C - M)^2... What it actually comes out to is : (C^2) - (M^2) == (C - M)x(C + M). IF you continue with this, you actually get C == 0, instead of C == 2M, since the M's cancel out. Really enjoyed the video! Actually got me to finally buy the game, especially with the coding section! Thanks!!

Not trying to be a math dork and I know this is all a joke to explain cookie fractals, but (c-m)^2 would not equal m(c-m), it would equal c^2-2cm+m^2, which explain how cookies magically appeared. Honestly, this is on par for cookie clicker craziness though.
(c-m)^2 is c^2-2cm+m^2. that is true
But (c-m)^2/(c-m) is the same as (c-m)^(2-1), which simplifies c-m
the actual problem with the maths is that c-m=0, and you can't divide by 0

@@Dragoon45 sadly not true, c^2-m^2 actually written out is (c-m)•(c+m). The opposite sides makes it so when you distribute, that middle section cancels each other out so you are left with the two terms squared. It’s weird because theoretically signs shouldn’t matter but because of imaginary numbers that arise from negative numbers and squaring/square rooting, stuff like this happens.

You know about the Windows accessibility feature, that lets you use the numpad on the keyboard as a mouse? Including clicking, and... double clicking? You end up with 2 keys to hammer the shit out of whenever there's a frenzy on.
You can also get a god in the temple who multiplies any frenzies etc by the number of buildings you've sold in the last 30 seconds. So you put him in, buy loads of the cheaper buildings, then set to "sell" "all" and do just that for a few types. Then your numpad hammering can be worth dozens of times more!
Eventually you'll probably want to let him go if you're gonna go into idle playing. But he'll help you get up high quickly. Of course some of the buildings you sell may have been contributing to your cookies per second, so you might take a hit there. But most of the early buildings are crap and contribute almost nothing, so they're better sold off as a multiplier. But you only get 30 seconds, remember! So during a frenzy you might have time to sell them, then rebuy them quickly (by the hundred), then sell them again. Do that as many times as you can manage in the frenzy (or Dragon Harvest or whatever else). The time you waste buying and selling is more than compensated for in cookies.
I don't sell cursors or grandmas cos they're good contributors, but the few below, in fact many, you can check are producing almost nothing.

Ok so in the math portion at 10:40 when he says c^2 - m^2 is the same as (c-m)^2 its actually not the same bc (c-m)^2 is actually c^2-2cm+m^2 and the -2cm comes from the fact that you have to multiply (c-m) by it self and when you do that you dont just get c^2 - m^2 🤓🤓🤓
