I bought a Houbei 2.0 in October in Whiskey leather with Havana cigar stitching(because of course) and the patina that it's been developing is fantastic. The darkening around the flap and the edges looks so good. Can't wait for what it might look like in a couple of years. #opensealeather #beardbrand
I bought a cheap business card holder from a dollar store about 6 months ago and it does everything I need. It holds 4-6 cards comfortably and a couple bills if I need. For $1.50, I’d say it’s a win

They usually last for about 10 years. They stopped making them and I think I have found my next wallet to carry going forward. Just need to make sure the wife does not wash it. I got a gun deck several years ago. Gray with orange stitching. Has beautifully aged. It’s the best wallet I’ve ever owned. Will last me forever. But I still want to get another eventually. 😊
I’ve been using (in rotation) one of the Topsider wallets in Italian Shell Cordovan. It’s an absolute beauty of a wallet. It got even ‘better’ for me when our 🇬🇧 cash notes got smaller. Michael was awesome before and now with the subtle name change and more time spent making wallets, he can only get more popular. 👊🏻👍🏻🙂

I just want to thank you so much for the first time you showed it in an edc video. As topsider was the design from which I started my learning of craftsmanship. Although I now make my own products but open sea had been one of the first inspiration.
Someone who cuts, sews, and decorates leather is a leatherworker. Someone who prepares the skins is a tanner, although there were other jobs, too, like fleshing, etc...
Got GunDeck and loved it ... ordered few more later the year and had to wait 6 weeks to get them.... all that worth it. I can confirm that this is a top notch product...all hand made. You have to see Craft and Lore products ,Bendjamin Bott as well....really cool stuff.....good thing with Gun Deck is that you can unstitch it....use it as a template...stitch it again and then you can make your own copy....or just ask Michael to do it for you....nice video, anyway....

I have had a 50/50 for about a year now, Got it in 2 tone natural leather and the dark blue. Love the thing it works awesome. It also has a quick draw on the back of it that works great . My Patina is not quite as good as Jeremy’s but it is close. Anyway Take a look at the 50/50 its a nice wallet also. Open Sea’s stuff is all great.
RCH........lol. One of the most important things I learned when I worked in a machine shop during college. That and NEVER throw the Snap On tools, Craftsman yes, never the Snap On........lol
Funny that I have two topsiders and love them but I like the gun deck mini better than the topsider mini. I think cause you only have to fold the cash once
As another comment, I will say that any wallet I have that requires folding cash twice is now in a box, never to be used again. I’m so bored with that. Folding cash once is great and that’s my limit 😂 There is a point where minimalism can become annoying.

The last leather wallet I carried was a fossil bi-fold. I loved how it looked after carrying for awhile. I also love the smell leather can't get enough. But I decided to make the change and went with ridge wallet and love the minamist part of it. I've seen your wallet in several of your videos and was really wanting one. I fold my Topsider's flap into the back, behind my ID and backup CC, that way I have quick access to my main CC, ID and backup CC. Also, excited that mine's going to turn that dark, I'm at the burnt caramel stage right now. #opensealeather #beardbrand
