OMG, thanks I was looking for this kind of commentary, to understand what changed. Common Rustin W
Thanks mang
Happy the video was helpful
I will say that there might be a world where sealed one eyed dragon sees some play due to a Ruler that was spoiled after I had recorded this
But overall most of these look like they were shot in the foot and told to walk yee
If you really guessed all those from the blurry pic I’m super impressed
Gotta appreciate the artwork for the game yee
Blurry images is our equivalent of “who’s that pokemon?”
Rather they just print new cards, that work in a similar manner and are weaker than those already on the ban list. Way too much errata going on for players (particularly new players) to keep up with. It isn't even like single line erratas anymore. Plus they're only having these errata cards on the memorial packs, might as well include them in the booster packs for the next set if their intent is to get that errata versions into circulation over the non errata versions.
Or just don't product such overpowered cards to begin with
Exactly
If an errata removes a cards identity
Just make a new card
Hell you could even make it a retrain
Just tell an artist “hey can you make the art similar to this? But make them look weaker” or something like that
Making them booster pack reprints instead makes more sense to do yea
The Memoria pack ought to be more meta relevant staples needing reprints
Or a way for players without an LGS to get promo artwork cards
Am I the only one thinking with the errata Sealed One-Eye is actually a better card than the banned version? Also these errata is a terrible idea. If a card is broken just leave them in the banlist
Better as far as more balanced?
Or better as in the banned version was weaker?
The banned version was an automatic 4 of in my deck
I could do lethal damage for free using it
Or early game I could pitch it to draw a card for free
The new one costs Will to use it’s activate abilities now
And has the weaker version of swiftness
Which is probably a more balanced card but yea
And yes I agree
If a card is broken just let it stay banned
We could use them in other formats
A ban list is just a good list of examples of how not to design cards going forward
@@RustinWW I think the new version of sealed one-eyed is going to be seriously abused by Zhuge Liang and potentially Gendennia
@@shucongfu3689 True
The damaging instead of paying life makes it more synergistic there yee
The fact you have to pay will into it for the effect is still a nerf over all though for most other decks
But will more than likely be a staple in decks with those two cards yee
