when browsing for books to read, i always look for book reviews. i have found some AMAZING books through these gifts and i’m all in for them. i have found more books to add to my TBR and i found some that are other booktubers favorites! that is why i bring you a huge book haul / book unboxing that quickly turned into a very chatty video about the books i got this month and me losing my mind over some of the new book releases coming this year. booktube and booktok have buzzed about some of these books… let’s see if i’ll enjoy them. i hope you guys enjoy this one and come out with more books to add to your TBR and some good book recommendations for 2022!

Yes. I said I wouldn’t buy anymore books in July, but I ordered Ace of Spades and Invisible Life of Addie Larue… oh also Starless Sea and they arrive todaaaayyyy✨✨✨. It’s literally an addiction! The best addiction if you ask me.
@@rubyanddelilahandnani the Invisible Life of Addie LaRue is so good! I enjoyed reading it! I don't see it as an addiction. It is a way to expand your knowledge and vocabulary! I feel like reading can teach you something no matter what you're reading !!

i recently started a job as a night time custodian and i have been struggling with loneliness a lot. i never thought about content creators, especially booktube, dealing with loneliness but as soon as you said that, i totally get it. i hope you can find ways to cope with loneliness when you experience it💕💕💕
Yep! Just went crazy getting paperbacks from Target bc they were BOGO 50% off! And I also wanted to get Mistborn trilogy for my collection (but paperback version ) but no sales on those :( I think I got 24 books total?? 😅😅
idk why the mistborn books are rarely included in the sales! the same thing happened when amazon was doing their 3x2😭

I reeeeally liked The Royals Next Door! It was just sexy. the seaside small town vibes and the dupe of Prince Harry and Megan was just so light and fun.

You need to read Gods of Jade and Shadow. I gave it 4.5 stars. I loved the writing style and thought the world-building was really well done. I wasn't too sold on the romance element, but I thought it was ok for what it was because it wasn't the main focus of the story.
Gods of Jade and Shadow is an amazing book! Also, Love & Other Words is my absolute favorite Christina Lauren and also just my favorite contemporary romance in general!
i've heard loads of people say that about love and other words!! can't wait to read it soon😍
Parachutes was sooooo freaking good. Criminally underrated in my opinion. Deserves a lot more love and hype.

Today I was convincing my friend to read Misery but idk how much it worked. I haven't bought any books since March but I got one as a birthday gift. But I daily download at least 5 free ebooks because that's my therapy.

my book buying addiction is great as I literally went to a charity book fair recently and found a perfect signed hardcover edition of Empire of Storms and Kingdom of Ash for literally £2 each!! that stuff never happens to me! but I have the worst addiction to buying signed books or trying to find sought after books as i seem to get very bad fomo but only with books 😂😂but so happy to have another long video from you!

Its truly a feat, to hate such a small book in such a large way? But she did it. That author really said, I'm gonna write the worst novella ever...and she did it. She accomplished her goal. Anyway, the rest of the tbr sounds legit, but that book man. Good luck to you.
Ok, let me follow that up with, Cassandra Khaws other books that I read, Hammers on Bone and A Song for Quiet, are MUUUCCCH better. Id dare say, I liked them.

Love & Gelato is one of my new favorite books just because it’s so fun and gave me so much serotonin, but the Netflix adaptation made me want to vomit a little. It was painful to watch, so I recommend saving yourself some time and only reading the book 🤣

i have not apparently read homocide and halo halo for reasons of the first book. i tired every will to finish arsenic and adobo and i did but ofc i gave it a 2 stars and that 2 stars was just generous if not i wouldve given 1 star. i just no the book no i just dont recomend arsenic and adobo for many reasons one of them is bc its very slow paced and boring. but one things for sure the filipino culture in here is amazing and the family scenes are wholesome and funny kinda. damn
