It has this wierd whimsical feel to it with this really unique magic system and I adore that the characters are all in their 20is and up, so it is more Adut than Little Thieves.. Its like nothing I have read so far. 💌

I highly recommend A Memory Called Empire, and it's a duology so a fast read. A space opera less of the pew-pew and more of the culture and the politics that move the pew-pews. The main character is an ambassador to the empire of Texicalaan. The author is a historian and her civilization, the Texicalaan is inspired by Aztecs and Byzantium. Read the entire book in one sitting. ☕
