It's truly wholesome to see HOI4 devs care about their own mod-makers, and even actively promote them! My respect for you: 📈📈
It is a symbiotic relationship. Mods MASSIVELY improve the lifespan and replayability of the game, and even convince some to buy it, and the devs make it easier for the Moddershall to continue their work. And the players get a lot of variation and fun. Really an absolute win
Other game virgin devs: demanding and taking down community mods.
Chad Paradox devs: supporting and encouraging their best mods. 🗿
yeah because mods its basically 80% of HoI4 online and popularity, other 20% are weird people always playing mp hist competitively. No other paradox game has so much big and interesting mods

The decision not to work with modders in Stellaris killed the entire mod community. I'm so glad that you didn't repeat the mistakes of their team. I love you as much as the developers of pony mod.

I am no brony, but we tryed the mod with a friend recently and having lots of fun, quite a lot of work was put in to it and it shows.

@@USSFFRU well the big universe split from the main MLP timeline is that the shapeshifting Nazi bug vampires weren’t defeated in season 6, so it’s not a “Nazis won”, but more of if they didn’t totally loose?

The fact that Paradox is promoting Road to 56 and giving it exclusive updates before launch so they can support them, when Rt56 is supposed to be for non-DLC players, is awesome and shows how great Paradox is, even if their games are a little on the pricey side
So glad to see Road to 56 will be immediately updated with the new DLC.

Surprised for TNO, they usually take longer although they didn't even try to integrate la resistance and no step back yet
NSB is integrated, but they’ve chosen to use their own unique spy mechanics instead of the LR ones. They don’t have plane designer stuff out yet, though I wouldn’t be shocked if it comes in the near future.
it's surreal the devs of a serious WWII grand strategy game is aknowledging a mod that turns their game into a world of magical talking horses. With guns of course!

I have it, but it's not a great mod, it's glitchy and you can invade any country you want without consequences, like where did the UN go? also it's inhistorical Israel falls to Syria in 1973, you can get infinite money by taking loans from the US, you don't get the weapons you buy, the focus trees are so bad
tried it on the AAT release day and it took a LOT of time to open

I’ve been involved with the hoi4 modding scene and was told (and shown ;) ) you guys used to be super strict with which modders got early access to updates and dlc. It’s nice to see you guys allowing more trust and giving more mod devs the opportunity

Yo question. So, I have my DLC subscription active and it’s before this DLC’s release. Would the DLC be included in the subscription since the day of release or do I have to wait an extra time for the DLC to sync in after renewal of the subscription?

I dont play mods that often but I really appreciate paradox being smart enough to realise that these mods have, in part, helped hoi4 have such incredible longevity.
Don’t forget all the other mods who’s teams (many just one person) who will be working their buts off to make sure they’re are updated

Guys, for real: please make a function so that troops stop picking up enemy equipment
Why would you delete it?, a lot of minors need it to even play. If you dont need other countries equipment or even your old equipment, you can delete it, or even make it so troops dont use it.
Why? Dont you want more equipment
You can delete equipment that you dont want
So deactivate the option to use foreign weapons or simply go to logistics and delete them from there
So happy for TNO, it just came out with its own update, so it's good they allow us to still continue to play it.
