Tenor Choir Practice: “Gloria” from Mozart’s “Missa Solemnis in C major" , K. 337 . Mozart’s Missa Solemnis (Missa Aulica), is his last complete liturgical Mass composed in 1780 for Easter High Mass in the Salzburg Cathedral. The ‘Gloria’ is a bustling instrumental composition with energetic choral parts moving through the text at "allegro" speed. The solo passages add to the texture and contrast, concluding with an elaborate Amen.
