Everyone talking about the Zods while I'm marveling at how Malafe'ak seems to have really come into his own as a villain, having actual realism to temper Lor's ambition.
The two make a team and mal is doing great things he's already working for darkside of people I'm so proud.
At this point Malafe'ak is still working with Lor-Zod because of two things:
1. He agrees with some of Zod's philosophy
2. He's having too much fun.

@@kordellpurnell6207 Yeah I kinda feel they should've made Dick share his arc with Artemis to explore his relationship with Jason and cut off Razer's arc (which mind you I loved) but to be fair Nightwing had the most important role out of the team in last season.
@@elnombredelarosa3167 Razer's arc was only 2 episodes and it was necessary to help Rocket see other powerful struggle with their mental stability and emotions. As well as set up a more space oriented storyline in Season 5 which will focus more on the Green Lantern Corps.
And...all that means the Earth oriented Batman family who already have had tons of screen time in Season 3 (the main storyline revolved around Batman and Nightwing secretly conspiring to deceive the Justice League to defeat the Light) needed to take a break from being in the spotlight.
Also it was funny because Oracle said the entire Bat family could back up Artemis and Artemis said no. Which I liked because I don't like the idea Artemis having to share the spotlight with Nightwing again after doing that in Season 3.

Ursa becoming the Emerald Empress made me feel like I was watching a DC Universe version of What if. It was an unexpected combination of two villainesses.

@Kryptoskillet I think there's gonna be something where even he does die of the lost blood, they'll bring him back in some way. Similarly with rocket she won't be in the phantom zone she'll be out soon. Plus I doubt they gonna kill off nightwing in that fashion

Rocket is neither dead. Watch the video I linked here and the other videos in their channel. Youâll find the end of the season and I think you might like it. I was very surprised and excited. But young justice definitely needs to be renewed.

I just realised, wouldnât it have made more sense for Kaldur to have gone out of the Boom Tube? Kaldur wouldâve probably been the best matchup against the Zod Family as he is a magic-user and Kyptonians are vulnerable to magic, and an Atlantean who are naturally strong and durable due their bodies having been adapted to withstand any pressure underwater as well as from magic.
Also, Nightwing is most definitely alive. Batman has this breathing/mediation technique where he can slow down his heartbeat to a point where he can maintain a state where he can appear dead but is actually still alive. Grayson most likely learned that from Bruce.

But he did know that General Zod and Ursa came out of the Phantom Zone through the first Boom Tube that opened, so it wouldâve been a safe guess that the second Boom Tube would lead straight to the two of them; as well as to assume the worst, namely that General Zod and Ursa came out to either Earth or another world with a yellow sun that would have given them Kryptonian superpowers.
@@Saiyef96 They only just got out. They wouldnt have had much time to absorb sunlight. Nightwing had no idea where the Boom tube was going but when be saw Zod and Ursa getting powered up he knew had to act before it was too late. If he didn't Zod would be even stronger

Iâm just hoping that somehow theyâre all in mental construct like they did in season 1 where the team had to face the worst case scenario that kept getting worse. Maybe they put everyone in there as a way minimize the chance of death and to try and snap Connor back to normal.

He kinda adds honestly to the emerald empresses Lore a bit, because without the Emerald Eye she was just a regular person in the comics it was the eye did all the work. Making the empress kryptonian puts her on a more level scale as someone as deadly as the fatal five. Being at the fatal five are able to take on the entire legion at once
General Zod and ursa the emerald empress are the main threat to earth.
I really hope they use this in a court of owls storyline, like the court revives him and turns him into a talon

Given Nightwing's Kryptonian connection (which may or may not be a thing in this universe), it is fitting that he "died" in the Fortress of Solitude. Also fitting how Lor Zod, who is a Nightwing in the comics, kills him.

I feel like the writing kinda took a dive in seasons 3, and especially 4. Like what were the creators thinking here? Lets have Nightwing be crushed by literally tonnes of ice, but he'll miraculously survive because "reasons" and instead of having Lor Zod finish him off, he'll just listen to his heartbeat from a far distance and assume he's dead. Which will lead to yet another fake death, just like Artemis (S2E7) Artemis & Aqualad (S2E19) and Superboy and Rocket in season 4. This scene made no sense.
