Kyle Cannillo is an accomplished sports broadcaster with years of experience calling games for the Rochester Jr. Americans, the Chippewa Steel, the North American Hockey League, Penn State football, Penn State hockey, and much more.
With each call, Cannillo's passion for play-by-play is clear. He engages the audience with storytelling, information, and unmatched energy. For his work, the NAHL selected him out of 35 teams to serve as broadcaster for the NAHL All-Star Top Prospects Tournament.
Cannillo currently serves at the Director of Media & Marketing for the Rochester Jr. Americans and prides himself on being incredibly well-rounded. In their inaugural season, Cannillo led the Americans to amongst the highest attendance in the NAHL. He's built and commanded the game day experience and provides fans with a memorable atmosphere.
He also possesses as an impressive skillset in social media management and graphic design, used for the team's identifiable and professional branding. He creates almost all content for the team's videoboard.
Prior to his time with the Jr. Amerks, he served a similar role with the Chippewa Steel. He was the play-by-play broadcaster for Penn State women's hockey on Big Ten Network Plus and had the headset on for multiple Penn State football games.
