Honestly it was easy for me to believe in Jesus & his besting, crucifixion, his descent into hell & his resurrection. I got that. However, in my life I sought wisdom from God & figuratively it was like I placed WANTED POSTERS OUT with an image of Jesus. I seriously sought Gods wisdom I never gave up. I questioned myself intensely. Now I had been saved @ 27. That is why I cherish Pastor Allens' teachings. So many of my questions are answered. Wow many of my trials I realize God WAS there. Now my focus comes with UNDERSTANDING THANK GOD.

Luke 13:18-19- Then Jesus said, "What is the Kingdom of God like? How can I illustrate it? It is like a tiny mustard seed that a man planted in a garden; it grows and becomes a tree, and the birds make nests in its branches."
    - My thoughts are that this may also be a reference to our creation which began very small and grew into what we know and experience as our existence. The light of heaven is within all that we know as existence and is what makes up our very being. All of man kind is within it and is not excluded except by choice of the individual. It is God's kingdom.

I like the analogy. But when I think of the garden of eden having trees. I need further clarity. Do you have another teaching that would further expound on this parable or the mustard seed?

When the pastor talks about people rotting alive in Zechariah 14:12, here is another view. Inherited stories say that Herod the partying man, the fox who cut off John's head and who wanted Jesus to perform some miracle for him. His life ended in a terrible way. Worms ate him alive and no one could go within 4 meters (13 ft.) of him. The smell was so awful. What do you think, would people get the same plague as Herod when Jesus comes back?

  • @thethyroidexperience65

If we read revelations Yeshua will not touch the ground we need to be careful because the antichrist will touch the ground and u want to make a clear distinction so not to cause people to fail. The scripture says we will meet him in the air those in the grave first then those on earth

How many have read the parables and thought, what in the world. You have heard hundreds of interpretations.
Why is that? It is because we have been conditioned to think all of the bible is applicable to us when it is not.
It has to do with the lack of understanding how the times and seasons are significant to bible comprehension. You need to know why the parables in the first place. Or maybe you do but just chose not to apply it to those Jews under the Law and the Kingdom system of salvation. Eccl. 1:1 and Jesus in Acts 1:6-7
    Matt.13
[10] And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? It is to fulfill prophecy given by Elijah and to kept the unfaithful from hearing about the treasures of the Kingdom, verses 11 thru 16
So about the MUSTARD SEED. Jesus is the Christ. He is the Son of God and the King of the Jews. To be saved and to be a citizen of the Kingdom when it comes THE JEWS HAD TO BELIEVE WHAT I JUST STATED. Many Jews were obeying Moses the best they could but it was out of tradition and not faith. They had to also believe on the name of Christ. In otherword, The Christ has a name and His name is Jesus. So the Christ is in front of their eyes and speaking to them. Just how much faith does it take to become a citizen of the KIngdom? He is right there and the Kingdom is at hand. MUSTAND SEED size faith.

@@allennolan Romans 15 [8] Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
That is Christ was preaching the promise of a Kingdom that He would rule. His preaching was to the Jews at that time not our time and doing so in parables to the masses. As Ecclesiastes 3 says [1] To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time for every purpose. The time of that promise is to bring the Kingdom to them is not now. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile at this time. AT THIS TIME The Jews have to let go of that system of salvation and embrace the new system of salvation (now 2k years ago) which the apostle Paul gives to us. But God was not lying to them and the Kingdom will come with Christ's 2nd return. They will be a light to the Gentiles at that time, the church having been raptured priorly. Isa. 42:6, Isa. 60: 1-5 Are promises.
Jesus talks about them being a light to the Gentiles and the kingdom Matt. 5 [14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. - Jerusalem is that city. Isa.2 [1] the word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
[2] And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
[3] And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Peter gained his knowledge from Jesus - Acts 2 [29] Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
[30] Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; Eccl. 3:1

How would you explain that after finishing the conversation with the Samaritan women at the well, Jesus saw the people coming that she had told about Him and stated to His disciples the fields are white ready to harvest. Were they all Jews that Jesus was referring to? John 4:35

[8] Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
      Matt.15
[24] But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
It was not lawful for Jesus to mingle with Gentiles.
Lev. 20:24.......: I am the LORD your God, which have separated you from other people.
[25] Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
[26] And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
This also explains Peter's actions and remarks in the book of Acts. He refused, intially to go to Cornelious. Then he tells Corn that it is not lawful for them to be together

@@tims.449 GM. I thank you for that scripture and I totally agree but there are small pieces of things that Jesus did do for the gentiles or saying that implied the gentiles were included. I just need to know who the people were that He called the harvest is white?
