- Tori Kelly is hitting the road! The two-time Grammy winner stopped by Access Daily, telling Kit Hoover and Scott Evans that following the release of her latest album “Tori.,” which dropped April 5, she will head out on tour kicking off April 12! The 31-year-old singer also spoke about how her recent health scare influenced certain songs on the album, sharing, “I ended up essentially collapsing one night and went to the hospital. They ended up finding blood clots,” before adding, “That happened, and I was like, ‘Wait there’s a couple of songs missing.’” As Tori recovered, she even received a special surprise from Beyoncé, who sent her flowers! “She was very sweet for sending those. Big fan of hers, of course,” the songwriter said. Plus, Tori also addressed how she would respond to Simon Cowell’s previous criticism of her when she was a contestant on “American Idol” Season 9 in 2010 now that’s she’s a successful star.
