You are so right and I have heard this from different peaople, this sprin g clamps are said to react to different temperature change than the screwed type.I think what really drives people crazy is how it snaps which ofcourse is the charasteristic of what makes it better, afterall there are different tools out there that makes these spring clamps easy to handle. The only issue that I am having is just to know their different sizes to know what to ask for at the parts store or know what to look for if buying online.

Car manufacturers use those constant tension spring clamps because they don't leak like screw clamps they keep constant tension on a pipe that heats up and cools down expands or shrinks. They are hard to work with i agree.

@@Izaiah_J I am a master tech myself, if they are not holding for you, then it’s your own fault, either you are using the wrong clamp size, using an old worn out, sprung tension clamp, did not place the clamp close enough to the existing witness marks on the old hose, or you are simply using a cheap aftermarket brand hose and/or clamp. Worm clamps should not be used ever on hoses in this type environment because they are solid and do not expand and contract with the hot and cold cycles and therefor I have seen work clamps completely tear into and destroy hoses and cause leaks. If constant tension drives you nuts then you don’t understand the science behind them and don’t have the right tools to use on them. I’d hate them to and did years ago before the proper tools came out. Now grow up and learn proper technician techniques, techs that use worm clamps on these hoses don’t belong near any cars or be trusted.
