      Other titles? Well how about the good Thief games that came before that one you mentiond! In first one you need to sneak around Trickster and do not get spoted, in the third game you do the same with the scary witch lady (and thats only the end bosses, you sneek alot more enemies before that), in the second game you cannot even get near to the "boss" so that one is probably for a difrent list :P

    While this is basically just a Flurry rush, the important part is the fact that weapons don't lose durability when you do this, so you can pull your strongest weapon out for some free damage and still have enough of that weapon to break over the guy's face during the battle proper.

It took a while to finish the first time I played since the map was fairly large and working my way around it to get the drop on him was slow-going. Jack the Ripper in the eponymous AC Syndicate DLC is a prime example of that. He is pretty much immune to all frontal attacks, can easily dodge all of your tools (he is also immune to the fear tools and the voltaic bomb). The only way to win is to lose him in a smoke bomb, cause him to go different way than you are, and sneakily wait in a corner to reach you so you can use the brutal takedown (which is FAR more violent than "Assassinate"). Do that three times and he will summon handful of goons (who, I can tell you, have unforgiving battle skills but have none of Jack's defenses). Repeat the sneaky brutal takedown one more time when you get to be alone with Jack again and you will be able to free Jacob. Because yeah, Evie and Jack are the only playable characters in the DLC. You cannot however freely switch like you would in the main game.
    Fun fact: the Jack the Ripper DLC events happened only a few years before the birth of Lydia Frye, Jacob's granddaughter and main character of the World War I sequence. So it is safe to assume that Jacob had a child who was very much scared for their father's death while Aunt Evie had to search for her brother, make sure Aberline doesn't betray the Assassins, disrupt the maddening effect Jack had on gangs, and make London a tiny bit safer for prostitutes (as safe as it can be when a serial killer is targeting them specifically).

    I'm surprised skyrim isn't on this list. The game is practically begging you to backstab malaketh.

      At least in my playthroughs, an annoying number of enemies will completely disregard my character simultaneously being invisible and muffled to march up and attack me regardless of how close I am to the previous location I did literally anything from.

    I had to pause the video to laugh at that.

    huh? no ancient wyvern from dark souls III? it's nearly impossible to kill, unless you run all the way around the area, and plunge him

    • @SyfyRules
      @SyfyRules Před 3 lety

      but that's not really stealth, sure you use the arena to your advantage, but the whole time wyvern is aware of where you are and tries to strike back until he gets too tired, stops for breath, and you drop a knife into his spine and land on top of it

    Hi Italian here! Constantin from Rise of the Tomb Raider comes to mind. He is the final boss, so by the time you get to him you are leveled and geared up. Still, you have to stealth to beat him, no way around him. Unfair, but it is very thematic and coherent with the lore.

    I suppose that is why I love Deadpool so much. He's not a hero, but he does beat up bad guys! And he has absolutely no problem doing whatever it takes to get to his target. Be it up front and personal, to stealthy, to straight up pissing the enemy off and making them so blind with rage that they go down in seconds
