Thank you Lynn for another great idea. I appreciate the fact that you don't waste time chatting but that you get right down to showing us an endless array of techniques. Lots of love from Australia.
Thanks so much or the feedback on my videos! Happy to hear they are helpful.
Lynn, I'm always so intrigued by your videos! You never need a 45 minute-- or more--video to show us excellent designs (as many others do). Thank you for your brevity and your beautiful designs.
Thanks so much! I really appreciate the feedback
Agree. I honestly will seldom watch any videos that are longer & NEVER live for that very reason. I always enjoy Lynn’s videos.
Thanks, Lynn, for reminding me of the blender pen with making simple coloring with the water colored pencils stand out, along with stepping up the card. Love the use of that tree.
Love the simplicity of this. Thank you!
Love the trees. Love all the different ways to make these simple cards.
Thanks so much!
Understated elegance. The use of a blender pen really makes a difference.
The blender pen is the magic behind these cards :)

Beautiful cards.
I love these cards!
Very pretty!
I didn't get this stamp set because I felt we had so many trees already! Will look over my stamps and hope I can find one, or a combination of various trees and shrubs to achieve a similar effect. Can't buy the whole catalog! Love the techniques used. Don't think of venturing out enough, so thank you.
I have another set that has a very similar tree . I will use that one. Love your card.
I love the result of the blender pen technique!
beautiful cards!
I love this card design. I love the watercolor pencils and love using the blender pen with them because it makes it so easy and this is the perfect stamp to use it with. Just found your channel and subscribed,
Thanks so much and welcome to my channel!
Great ideas!
Do you find the blender pens dry out? I have purchase them, but go back to using to find they have dried out.😍
The blender pens I am using in this video are from back in 2011-2012. I bought them when I first started with Stampin' Up! I haven't bought any recently. I may have had one or two of them dry out but for the most part they have lasted awhile.
Would you also recommend using the Aqua painters for the coloured pencils for a watercolour effect? Or would that not work for this design?
You could try using aqua painters but you will have to use memento or stazon ink to stamp the actual tree image. I used Early Espresso so it would smudge if I tried to watercolor over it
What is in the blender pen?
I can't know exactly what SU! uses, but many blender pens are alcohol based. A "homemade" blender solution is made with 2 tsp glycerin, 4 tsp distilled water, and just a touch of isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol.
Good question. Stampin' Up describes it as a "specialized solution."
