      Not to say the result would have been different but if Khamzat touched gloves holland could have had his hips ready to stop the takedown but khamzat got to his legs early. Wouldnt have mattered much tho. Holland td defense getting better

      Khamzat was 7lbs over the weight limit here. But idk if that makes much of a difference. Being at least 15% heavier than the opponent is what would probably make a difference in a fight. But still Khamzat is damn good. All the Eastern European guys are beasts. They could be 90-400lbs and you would still see the same results.

    Sometimes it takes a slow-mo replay for me to realize just how supremely skilled these people are. Like, the ability to transition and read your opponent like that with all the physical pressure of trying to play offense and defense is just unreal. Both these fighters’s ability is just amazing.

    Khamzat just feels where the weight is going and follows it without compromising his own base. He lets go briefly if he can't follow without staying on top or balanced and allows their momentum to keep them from escaping while he shifts position to meet them exactly where he knows they are going to end up. It's just the magnet philosophy executed perfectly.

    Most people lose the grip when you roll so the fact he didn't lose the hold twice and capitalized/made the adjustment on the third time he made that same move is just admirable. Respect to both guys but one guy was clearly more experienced in wrestling

      oh stop it, Khamzat and him touched gloves already when the ref told them to, then as soon as the fight began, Khamzat did his feint high to takedown as he always does in most of his fights, Kevin sticking his hand up high was his own fault, he wasn't trying to go for a glove touch when him and Khamzat already had beef backstage, u guys made up a narrative to cope.

    Khamzat is such an aggressively adaptable and preceptive fighter that it doesn't matter how good the opponent is. He can process and adapt to the situation on the fly, plus he's got serious strength.
