    Nice job! Do those arms hold the weight of the individual boxes ok? Or are they effectively stacked on each other and arms just retain them in place?

    • @ziggysrefurbs1885
      @ziggysrefurbs1885  Před 2 lety +1

      Cheers. The arms are holding the weight of each box. Each box is not touching the box above or below so I can take out any box I need.

    What weight can you put in the boxes this way? website says 22kg being a plumber that’s not enough.

    good night friend, you have a great idea and with your permission I would like to have the same support system for my van. Could you tell me the dimensions and thickness of the profile you used?

    • @ziggysrefurbs1885
      @ziggysrefurbs1885  Před 2 lety

      They're the same fold away arms that fit on the dewalt toughsystem trolley. I got mine on ebay.

      Cheers , by brackets did you mean the arms that the toughsystem boxes click into and fold away. They're ment for the original toughsystem trolley.

    How wide apart did you make the uprights? And what is the overall width of the frame? I am planning to build something similar for my transit custom. Already bought fold away brackets.

      @@rorymann8885 I built it but never put it in my van. It’s in my garage. Ended up swapping to Packout. If I remember tomorrow, I’ll go measure it. I did 2 side by side all the mounting holes drilled for the brackets. Took a day to do

    Is that a 1"X1" aluminum bar?

    • @ziggysrefurbs1885
      @ziggysrefurbs1885  Před 2 lety

      It's 1" × 1" steel box section. I have seen a bloke using aluminium box section that he bolted together and that worked great for him.

  • @bigchungas2211
