Probably because the one engine who showed him legitimate kindness beforehand was getting a shot at pulling the “big” train instead of the loudmouth who made fun of him.

Very good, but diesel weren’t made until the mid 40’s, the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s,90’s and the 2000’s.

There were already made diesels back in 1930,well not a 28 class but still, the story could place between 1930- 1940 here

I think people put a fire or something under the floor where the engine is to create the effect, could be wrong since I don't personally have Trainz

You copy and paste smoke 6 and 7 from a TSI model that has Rileyzzz's smoke asset and add it to model that doesn't have the asset in the config.
