    That brought back some memories. I’m 45 now, when I was 8 to 10 years old, I was running our 730 John Deere Diesel on the 14T Baler. My parents stacked the hay on flat wagons. Later we moved to Bale Baskets. My mom and dad still bale with a 7010 Allis Chalmers Factory Open Station Power Director. I rebuilt the engine in 1998, still runs like a top. I really liked to see the whole family working together. It was nice to see the black smoke from the exhaust of the 190XT, every baler stroke. Really enjoy the videos. Make sure you be safe. Thanks. That young guy in the 220 was better than I was, I couldn’t push the clutch in and hold it when I was his age on our 210. Just had to add, great job to all the young guys, your professional operators already.

    Some excellent hay drying weather. You got all types of baling. Nice lineup of Allis Chalmers tractors.

    That's a mighty fine fleet of orange tractors. When I bought my farm in 1976 I had an AC 303 baler with thrower. It was a great baler but didn't seem to be built heavy enough for the thrower hanging on the back. I'd love to find a 190XT like that but I'm too old to give up my cab w/AC.

    A very satisfying video in many ways. Always good to see classic machines being used as they were meant to be, a d how nice to see the youngest member of the family being trusted to do the job all by himself

      We have other brands in our list of tractors but when I comes down to getting work done Allis Chalmers is our go-to tractor 🚜. From our CAs, D10, D12,WD45s, 160, and our 175/loader for heavy lifting.

    Again, great video! I’m envious of being able to mow, let sit, and bale. Do you ted any of your other hay crops that are more grass heavy? Thanks for posting great stuff.

    Great video, why didn't you rack the hay for the square baler?

    • @JandLVideos
      @JandLVideos  Před 3 lety +1

      It was thick enough without raking for the small square baler

    The D17 on the rake is just like the one we had on the farm. Was one of my dads favorite tractors. I don’t remember what series it was? Series IV?

      @@JandLVideos Great video, here in South West Michigan we've been in a sever drought! Mowed 6 acres of hay last week and got 100 small square bales? We got some rain this am & possibility of more this afternoon with maybe more on Monday!!! Good luck with the rest of the season!

      Yeah, they like putting square fenders on their D17s. Easier to sit on while he taught the kids how to use them.
