Kashi was known as a city of a thousand holy temples where Shiva himself descended from Kailasa. May that ancient glory be restored and may Hindus find that lost charm of the Divine again.

Kashi..Varanasi mentioned thousands of times in our scriptures. Where devi ,devata descended from heavens to do pooha to Lord Shiva. Such a holy place was encroached by Muslim sultan's and majid was constructed. Muslims must surrender this majid and hand over to kashi temple.
Finally a video that gives a little more information than all the others I had been watching since demolition started. Now I know that the small temples. will have priests appointed to them and rituals will be reinstated.

There should be survey of entire city, and any old temple found should be again freed from encroachment. If you see old photograph or even older paintings of Varanasi, there are hundreds of beautiful temples. Where are they today.
