    F-16 Block 70/72 upgrade and new 70/72 is no longer considered a F-16 C/D but a F-16V Super Viper. They are better that the overhyped PO💩 F-35 Fat Amy. That wheezes along at Mach 1.2 or if it manages to shit a brick it might grunt it's way to Mach 1.6. In order to cary enough ordinance to do any good it has to hang iron on the wings in beast mode so say bye bye stealth, which is the whole point of the Giga buck thing. The USAF/USN need to ditch Fat Amy and go with F-15EX Super Eagle, F-16V Super Viper, F/A-18 E/F Super Hornets F-22 Raptors and A-10 Warthogs because can you really see Fat Amy able to move mud like a Hawg or a Viper? $100,000,000+ "Stealth" Fat Amy's are going to dig a lot of holes from enemy IR MANPADDS and take a lot of good pilots with them.

      So the J20B has a 6500KM in flight fuel range. 25000 meters maximum ceiling. 2.8MH maximum speed. A cruising speed of 1.8 Mach with no acceleration. This is an advantage, after all, the mission of the J20 series is air combat. The J20 has a very small payload capacity and can carry up to 6 medium to long range missiles (300 kilometers) and 2 combat missiles (80 kilometers). It is obvious that this type of aircraft must attack high-value targets, otherwise it is a serious waste.

    F-16 = old jet new new version, not a new fighter
    F-15 = old jet new new version, not a new fighter
    J20b = pre existing jet not a new fighter
    Su-35 = pre existing jet new version not a new fighter
    Tejas MJ just another new version of a pre existing fighter
    None of these are New fighters. They are just the latest versions of existing fighters some of which are 40 to 50 years old.

    The J20B has a 6500KM onboard fuel range. It is obvious that this type of aircraft must attack high-value targets, otherwise it is a serious waste.

    the chinese J31 arent going into service just yet? too bad. thats the asia based plane that i expect to eclipse the french rafale distribution worldwide. since its stealth. and it already state to be chinese "mass produce" version of their stealth jets. in direct competition to F35. i just hope when its goes final later, it will still be using its original code name, the J31. because using number "35" would be seen as a "wannabe" to the F35.
    usually, mass produce products are tend to be a much well prepared and well developed product than proprietary ones. proprietary products may yield some advancements not seen in common stuff, but due to mass produce stuff will be having IMPACT to reputation of the maker for being distributed openly, the producer will make sure it is done right.

    • @mr_exia
      @mr_exia Před 3 měsíci +1

      China remains very evasive about the real capabilities of the plane and mass production does not yet seem to be in place at the moment.
      So it's not surprising that there isn't much interest in J31 at the moment. what's more, Westerners can boast a certain level of quality in the stuff they sell.
      China maintains this reputation as a low-end manufacturer and even if they are now absolutely capable of producing quality stuff, the image will still stick with them for a good while. Hence the low sales of the Comac 919, for example.

    • @SpruceWood-NEG
      @SpruceWood-NEG Před 3 měsíci +1

      J31 needs to replace J10A/B type. It still needs to be deployed to the 004/005 aircraft carrier that is clearly under construction. 001/002/003 will also be equipped in moderation. This is the demand for at least 800 aircraft. I don't think China will have production capacity for export in the next 10 years.

    • @subasthapa8323
      @subasthapa8323 Před 3 měsíci

      J31 is just a variant of j35 which is operational from land whereas j35 is a naval variant to be operated from aircraft carriers.
      So j31 is more like a competitor to f35.
