  • I love the little cotton pads to remove my makeup BUT I don't like the thought that I can not reuse them... so let's make them washable so that we can :-)
Here is the video for the quilt in the background

Great Idea - as a side note, I had my husband install an inexpensive bidet - Amazon - (no electric required - only water pressure from existing system.) I use 10" square serged flannel cloths for personal hygiene after cleansing. These are then tossed in washer from small container next to toilet (usually each day or two.) So refreshing!!!

I am making little things that would not be too expensive but desireable. I have already made key chains, lanyards, etc. This little facial cleaner are perfect!!!

My Granddaughter just got a new car and she asked me if I could make coasters for here cup holders so it would keep them cleaner. :D so I did and sort of the same way you did only fabric and batting and the stuff I bought to make dish drying mats. fun!! She likes holiday stuff so the ones I started with were Halloween scraps.

Great idea. I'm going to make some this week - I have a nice size jar that I can use. I was thinking about making some kind of net bag to use when I put them in the washing machine.

My grannie would say waste not want not and she would recycle before the word came famous of today. nice ideas gifts and recycling is good. 👍 we always use a washcloth for makeup removing and cleansing as you need them, usually guys don’t do washcloths but we have tons of washcloths from old towels as well.

Talking about reusing you can make flannel panty liners with a plastic snap, these snap over underwear. The thickness depends on the person and needs.

I use a cotton kitchen towel with pretty cotton fabric backing I sew around the edges 1/2 inch and pink the edges since i don't have a serger.

I made some after I watched your video. I bought some bamboo ones on line with the net bag included. They were to small and fell apart as they were very porous light material not good for nail polish removing. So.. thanks for the gift ideas.
