  • @kathleenwilliams754
    @kathleenwilliams754 Před 9 měsíci

    Help please…I have an older Pfaff and it doesn’t have a running stitch nor does it have a reverse pattern foot. I have tried several settings of zigzag stitch length and width. I have stretched the elastic as I sew the curve and made sure the edge of the stitch is on the edge of the elastic. I cannot replicate the puckering achieved in this tutorial. Has anyone succeeded in using a standard zigzag stitch? BTW, I am using the Splash fabric used in the tutorial. Thanks in advance.

      Elastic is not 100% cotton so I would not microwave. The laminated fabric may not be microwavable, either. But, these covers would be excellent to use in place of plastic wrap for storing leftovers or transporting dishes. I did hear Laura say "hand wash", though. Why is that?

    Does Bernini make a foot that is specifically for attaching elastic, by chance? 🤔 I will check. Love this tutorial.
