Production Point Selling Fix | Mod Review | Farming Simulator 22

If you sell your goods at a production point then the goods no longer will be stored in the production point. The goods only get stored if somebody has bought the production point.

That single vote must gave been mine LOL I love this mod because I can now complete harvesting contracts that used to fill up certain production sell points.
I have not even started playing 22 yet, and still downloading mods for it. this one is a must have.
I added that yesterday, love it. Will rate it in mod hub.
The exploit with selling goods to a production point and then buying it could have esily have been resolved if the price of buying the factory was increased based on its stored goods, rather than let the player have their cake and eat it. I can see how not being able to complete contracts because of lack of capacity would be extremely irritating ( though i have never had that problem myself ), but i quite like the limited inventory of the factories, it seems ridiculous that your local bakery would happily buy thousands of eggs for example rather then a few hundred, i also found on Elm Creek that the ones with the lower capacity tended to give the best prices for selling.
This is something that needs to be base game, also a mod that allows you to sell at productions someone already owns would be nice as tbh its pointless playing multiplayer on maps with production chains that are preplaced because you can't sell your produce without placing your own production or sell point down and you have to hope the map creator has added all produce to sell points to cover that issue.
indeed. the realization you could not sell a purchased production with out destroying it was a WTF moment for sure. Then users reporting they could only sell a particular amount to a buyable sell point, knowing you could buy the sell point and when you did it was full or product greatly limited the usefulness of those production points especially on larger maps where it can be easy for a fields harvest to exceed a production points input storage.
@@FarmerKlein Exactly and i'm sure Giants could easily make the adjustments to make these production buildings more useful not only as production buildings but as sell points for those who don't own them even after they have been purchased by someone else even more so now that Giants are aiming more at multiplayer now.
That one 5 star vote was mine lol. I play 4 and 16x maps and could never finish a contract, I was really surprised no one else voted for it.
Its got a few more votes today. I am not sure I think maybe folks just didn't really understand what it did from the description or maybe it was not described correctly in various mod videos to this point.
Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I installed the mod and selected it on the mod screen, but it didn't work. The cotton still sits on the ground.

I don't know about the other production points, but unless that was a 1.4 fix - I could always complete the contracts. it just wouldn't consume the bale once the spinnery was full. Then I could get full credit for delivering field 68 worth of cotton, let's say, while only "eating" a few k of one bale. Then I'd take the bales left over from all the harvesting, wait until prime price point, and sell them at the farmers market for beaucoup profit. And that wasn't a one time exploit, that was every season when cotton contracts came up since it gets used so slow - Maybe take 1/2 a bale to top off, everything else "completed" the contract, but didn't disappear and sell again. As long as I *didn't* buy it. A little cheaty, but I only play single player, the only person I'm cheating is myself ;) I do think the other production points worked differently, to be fair, just the spinnery let me do this.
You have it right. When I saw the thumbnail I just knew what this was about because I ran into it on Elm Creek just a couple days ago. I have an extended contract mod. I did 5 cotton fields. Everything went to the spinnery. I dropped the bales, it sucked up a couple and fulfilled ALL contract delivery (I had accepted everything from the start). It left me with a bale and a half sitting there. I finished the fields and cashed in the contracts to be sure, then just took my loot to Johnson's. I then went back and picked up the bale and a half sitting at the spinnery and took that to Johnson's too. It was a pretty lucrative afternoon...
Same here. Im doing the exact same thing but Im just storing the bales on my land for my own spinnery that I placed. Im on the Haut map and the option to sell at the farmers market doesnt come up so I have no other place to sell it so I just use it to produce fabric.
I have like at least 10 bales and about 5-6 bricks sitting in the grass waiting to be used, but I would sell some of it if I could.
I had to go into the map and edit the storage amount to millions
I just added that, it seemed unfair getting paid for the product and getting to keep the it when buying the production
