do you know a way for me to acquire a copy with the color codes for the ford focus 1.8?
i'm actualy fixing a friends car and i'm sure having problem finding out which line each wire goes

2014 Ford Escape 1.6l SE 2wd
So, I just did an intake gasket replacement and while doing so I went ahead and did the timing belt, waterpump, timing tensioner, ilder pulley, spark plugs, ilder tensioner, serpentine belt and both CV axles. When oil leaks from gasket it got deep into plug well and the boots to the coils were oily. Everything is put back together and went I go to crank it up it cranks, turns over, but doesn't fire up all the way. (I am thinking no fuel pressure or maybe need to purge air out of coolant system.) so kinda stuck lol.

I HAVE A 2013 FOCUS, I am not getting any power to the injectors!!! checked All fuses in engine compartment, & under dash by glove compartment, did the swap on relays in engine compartment, new rail psi sensor, 2 new cam sensor, on scantool i was getting 1600+ psi for high side, & on my fuel gauge i was getting over 60 psi from in tank fuel pump. WHAT DO YOU THINK???? THANKS
I put my code reader on my Cruze and did a full diagnostic. I have 3 codes that show up but the engine light is not on. I noticed a few times my car cranking and after about 5 seconds it starts but most of the time it starts right up. My code reader says I have a bad ignition switch that may be going out. Does this car have an ignition switch ? I can't find anything about the switch on this car.
My 2011 Ford fiesta had corrosion problem, I believe I didn't catch soon. I hit the fuse dist box and things came to live for a few miles. So I decided to pull fuses one by one and clean all terminal. Now I have code for low voltage to ecu. But I have good voltage to ecu. Stumped
Can anyone tell me, I have a similar problem in the car. Ford focus 2013.diesel. A mechanic worked for me, a large and a small car service. I bought the car about 3 months ago. I had no problems with rumbled. I also replaced the battery. New! The car rumbled again. Sometimes. But mostly run from the first. It all started after the service. Please answer, I would like to hear your opinion.

Ok look at that part on the left side of the fuel pump. It's a hose with a square tip & a white clamp and slides onto a little pipe that sticks out the left side of the pump. My car only starts if I push that in. Is it put in wrong or what could that be? 😢🙏please help🥺

I reply the purge Valve but still same issue.
I turned it on driving it and when I arrive shopping center and come back to turn it on it’s on and off immediately. I leave it for 10 minutes and it’s starting up.

Having the same issue with my 2012 ford fusion. New pump and new relays and still have the issue? Can't find the fuel pressure sensor to replace though.
Look up Fuel Injection Pressure Sensor. Sorry I'm 6 months late haha

if you un plug the esnsor & it starts then you know the sensor is bad... if you havs a scan tool the high side pressure will be in there, & that info comes from the high side fuel rail pressure sensor
My is doing this a mechanic told me the engine is bad he says it doesn’t have any compression

Just food for thought. I had a crank-no start with this car that tirned out to be a ruptured inner valve cover gasket; my spark plugs were literally swimming in oil.
Was this in an escape? My 2013 has me beat

If it's the 1.0 EcoBoost M1DA then it doesn't have a fuel filter...

Helo bro. I have a ford fiesta. 2007 model. Diesel engine. 1.4TDCi. Recently, I had to change the gasket and rings because coolant oil drained off and I dint notice. Engine overheated and stalled finally. After fixing the new gasket and new piston rings, I face a new problem, and that is, car runs smoothly. but after the engine gets heated, it is not starting again. I had to leave the car for 20-25 mins and allow the engine to cool. After that, the engine starts and runs. My mechanic is unable to identify the real issue. He has checked the injectors, pump, replaced the battery, checked the crack sensor and rail pressure sensor...
But still the problem persist. I noted smoke from oil dipstick. But mechanic says that it is normal. But i am unable to accept that. Could you please help to figure the problem? Thank you in advance.

My 2012 focus se hatchback was doing the same thing. Also the tcm (transmission control module) is bad (pretty positive as it's a huge problem w focuses of 2012 up to 2017 (?)). Not sure if the overheating is related to faulty tcm though. It was hell during COVID lockdown because could only get food through drive thru, and if they were backed up or slow, the car would overheat!
