Andrea’s trio, featuring herself, Christoph and a percussionist, will be one of the featured acts at the 40th International Jazz Festival in Andorra this July. El Punt Avui mentions her Loopholes album as winner of the 2023 Enderrock Jazz Record of the Year, and quotes her as saying, “"I wanted a more intimate experience, perhaps more naked, less extroverted , to give space to my own compositions, with a message that I hope is also unique in terms of lyrics.”

Aquí Andrea y Christoph están explorando nuevos territorios (su gama es bastante amplia) con una mezcla de música clásica y jazz(?) Inmediatamente, el violín me recordó a Jean-Luc Ponty, así que tal vez sea una zona más vanguardista del Jazz. El violín también suena como el canto de una ballena, por eso terrestre como acuático. La voz de Andrea también suena un poco etérea, ¡así que en este tenemos la tierra, el mar y el cielo. ¡No me sorprendería que interpretaran algunas de las mejores canciones de Earth, Wind & Fire!

Beautiful singing by Andrea, who also looks great. (and happy birthday to her!) That blue dress is beautiful, and matches Cristoph's shoes. 🙂 I thought his playing was technically excellent, but I think this traditional catalan Christmas song is better accompanied by a guitar.
