DDM air intake, magnaflow catback, Trifecta tune, 24psi of boost. I’m right around 330 hp. I think I might dial it back to around 22psi, I’m a little afraid I might blow something up at 24.
I’ve also added some suspension goodies. Trust me, she drives great stock, but once you tweak the suspension she feels like she’s on rails.
Hopefully getting it tuned soon!
Stock should be around 14 to 16 lb of boost, depending on the elevation.
My wife has a '08 GXP 5-speed . It needed wheels and tires. I urged her to get the OZ Ultraleggera 18x9 ET55 wheels and 275/35-18 but she said that was too expensive and bought some heavy wheels and Riken Raptors in the stock size .
The car corners well and has enough power to make her happy. The interior is cheap, things break. Ergonomics is poor, storage is nil. My wife keeps her cigs between the gauges. It's not a good car to drive daily but once you've forgiven it's shortcomings, it's a blast to drive.
Where did you find OZ 18x9+55? All the ones I can find are +34. I can find them in a different bolt pattern no problem, but 5x110 doesn't have many size options.
@@forgottenautos8461 They were on Tire Rack a few months ago when we were looking; over $300 each. Gone now. Idea was based on a 2017 post at SolsticeForum
Good luck with your search.
The thunderbird was one thing but an automatic on a solstice.
It really has 260 horses and 260 of torque
These and the Saturn sky's were built from same platform I think, might be wrong.
They are mechanically the exact same car with different body panels and slightly different interiors
yeah, exactly the same besides apperence
Both cars are a rebaged opel
No you're correct
@@Mr_Countryball_Studiosummmmm no incorrect.. the opel gt is a rebadged saturn sky...
I have a new car cover fits '06 to '09 Solstice if anyone's interested. Nice video!
I might be interested I have one that I bought from Auto Zone & it doesn't keep out the bugs or dust very well how much are you asking?
260 HP
They come stock at 16 PSI of boost. I got a stage 1 tune from RPM Motorsports and am now running 22 PSI of boost, with just intake and exhaust for mods. Running 310hp at the crank.
That's pretty good. Same Mods I'm looking to start with
unpopular opinion, i hate the gxp front bumper
GXP is stock with 265HP and 265 Torque
It is like having a legal go kart around you
Not many modern cars can keep up with it on a twisty road.
Unfortunately that's crank hp. I'd love to get the whp up to there
I think the factory specs are 260 HP 260 lb - ft of Torque.
The base Solstice has a better suspension and corners way better than my 2002 Miata with the Hard S suspension package.
This looks like Murfreesboro, TN 😂
No puede ser el único auto q fabrican bien en años y desaparece Pontiac solstice super suto
And further more you get like 16 psi on the boost
I have a solstice and would like some inspiration for a mod path, u guys should pimp it out
We're on it👌
Good “solstice forum” the furst result is the best community for asking about this.
Google* solstice forum.
Ok bruh it's 260hp with that stock turbo out of a 2.0L with a dealer upgrade making almost 300 hp.. idk who told you 235..
I go off of wheel hp. That's what matters
@@ChiefDbo Respectively… no, it’s not what matters. If you wanted to say it’s 235hp you would’ve and should’ve said, “It’s 265 hp horse power… and that translate to 235 whp wheel horse power.”
Why I agree that ultimately wheel horse power is what matters… but you being a guy that obviously like cars that has a channel should inform the viewers with why it matters and or what you mean by WPH….
Anywho… you have a NICE car and it looks GREAT! I love the white(we have a white sky).😎
Drive safely and look forward to watching more content from you and the Solstice!!!!!!
290 horsepower with a dealer upgrade, 325 torque with the automatic, 340 torque with the five speed manual transmission.
That's not at all what happend. It's a german car and been a platform for some time before the American was released.
youre out of your mind...... the handling was designed by Ferrari in 2002, along with the basic shape designed by pininfarina, but GM stole it and did minor re-design.
