    It is always so interesting to see the amazing collections of fine audio systems from your very dedicated followers. It’s like attending a museum of fine art on display and most of these systems are of high artistic quality sonically and visually.
    Steve’s Shirts should be on display in a fine art museum. I’m sure many followers will agree with me on this as well 😉 No one “rocks” the shirts like Steve!

    After seeing so many high end esoteric systems, its nice to see more of the common man type systems that you throw in here. Thank uou for shining a light on some of us who cannot afford some of the equipment that is in the stratosphere, as well as some that is!! You've done a great job of mixing it up! Thank you, Steve!

      @@keplermission4947 i don't recall bringing up realistic brand anything...there was only one example of thrift store equipment. My only comment involved some systems that were less grand than most. It doesn't cost 20-30,000.00 to be an audiophile, as Steve has stressed in many of his episodes. Only a true love of music and a commitment to improving your systrm as you can.

    Yes, my Houseplants for Audiophiles do work well as diffusers. I'd like to thank John Darko for that suggestion, but I might needs some ferns for the mids. Thank you for showing my system.

    I was amazed a couple of weeks ago when my system was shown second - and then just yesterday I saw it again as the title page for part two! Man, I must be livin’ right or something because it’s a modest little rig compared to so many others. But it is a labor of love, just as Steve’s show obviously is for him. We must’ve been tuned to the same frequency for a second when I snapped that pic. Thanks Steve, it’s an honor. Love the show. Keep doing you, and giving us so much to look forward to.

      @@SteveGuttenbergAudiophiliac show the cheapest low cost systems. its more fun and interesting to see the rigs people without money come up with. big rigs costing hundreds and throusands dont impress me at all. in fact they are just ugly. there isnt anything seductive or creative about big speakers and lots of black and silver boxes on racks and guess what? expensive gear wont do nothing to fix a bad recording.

    Love the pics and stories.......
    Two suggestions:
    a. change categories to under 30, 30 to 60, and 60 and over...
    And add a new category - Vintage audio only! Let's see systems mostly comprised of vintage audio - pre-1960 or before..
    I think that would be fascinating and I started building my stereo in the late 1950s.......

      Decent speakers can be had for reasonable prices if you do you're research. But having good speakers alone won't maximise the sound performance.
      For that you will need to acoustically treat the room. As the room accounts for anywhere from 40% to 80% of the sound performance.

    I made it, mine is 16:40! Thanks Steve! S400s on sand filled stands, dual Rel T7i subs, Schiit Freya tube preamp, Redgum RGi120 amp, Ares II DAC. All from an ancient laptop that I control with my phone via Spotify.

      Dig the leather loveseat... we had an identical one, part of several matching pieces we purchased upon moving into our home nearly 20yrs ago.
      Same color,.same material etc.
      They survived our kids, pet claws, yet remained nice and comfy.

    First of all thanks for putting in the effort of going through 1100 emails an making these videos. Two remarks though where I see a missed opportunity. First of all I noticed very similar setups in the videos. It would have been nice to have be able to see some more diversity and secondly, I completely missed electrostatic loudspeakers in the line up.

    Good morning Steve, really enjoyed the photo essay. I am beginning to think that I am the one and only lucky guy with a Martin Logan Masterpiece speaker system ((o;
    I have a few systems in the house that incorp. speakers from a company with a family last name VERY similar to yours, can you guess ?? (You may know him personally). Thanks again for all your efforts.

    Hi Steve, I watch your show regularly and I love it. Since I own Adam-T5V-speakers myself, I can tell, that you are in front of some Adam-speakers in this video. Maybe they are T7V, or T8V. I run my Adam-T5V with a small Abacus-preamp, an Adam-Sub8 and an Audiophonics-DIY-Rasberry-DAC, which is an excellent combination in my eyes, especially at low volumes. I'm very interested in your opinion on the Adam-T-series, so I'd be happy if you could talk about it here sometime. Many greetings from the Adam-City Berlin. And keep up the good work!

    A lot of VPI representation there. They look like good turntables for sure, however pricing outside North America is pretty bad, otherwise I'd consider one for my next upgrade.

    I love seeing La Scalas, and other big horns, but no K'Horns? It's my bucket list speaker. McIntosh and Monitor Audio is cool too! Cerwin Vega D Series are awesome too! But, I'm really disappointed that no one has the big classic and AMAZING sounding Tannoy dual concentric speakers

    Hey Steve, I know this is off th subject, but I was watching an old X-Files episode th other night & Mulder was on th phone w/Scully & he said " I'm gonna try to catch th in-flight movie, it's with Steve Guttenberg!" I had to laugh. Thought you might like that. Oh & great video!

    Hi Steve a few weeks ago I was listening to my new seinheiser 560s .It was a sade cd,the trouble was their was a distortion in the high notes. I have tinnitus and have just had some hearing aids fitted.And now listen through loudspeakers.which is better for the tinnitus but still shrill with the high notes.I have found though that if I press the loudness button on the amp,the sound is a lot better.Your thoughts please on this.Best Wishes Peter ( UK)

    Just a question: you could make these videos much longer Why don,t you if the supply of
    of response is so overwhelming and you have material for a say at least one hour and a half

      Thanks, but putting together video takes a lot of time! To produce a 15 minute video like this takes nearly 2 days so it would take more than a week to make an hour and a half video. Meanwhile, I make four videos a week, I work very long days

    Interesting. Gotta say there's certainly some ugly systems out there too. I couldn't listen in some of those rooms. Too cluttered or ugly

      Hey another great idea - “ugly, cluttered audio systems” even we “messy” audiophiles have interesting collections of “stuff” albeit camouflaged among our collection of records, cds, wires, cables, accessories, headphones, and stuff that’s been there so long we forgot what we have and where we put it 😳😵‍💫🤔😉

    Nice systems, it is too bad so many of them are set up improperly with the speakers against the wall, and bulky furniture between them.

      Aren't some speakers designed to be close to the wall and doesn't furniture help diffuse or absorb the sound? A room with furniture in it sounds better than one that is empty with lots of echoes.
