My insurance stopped covering Ozempic but will cover Trulicity. I have made great progress with Ozempic. All my numbers are down and I'm off 5 other medications. I have lost some weight as well. My main concern is if switching to Trulicity will make all my numbers go back up for a time before the switchover. Will past weight gain return or double, or stay the same, or will I still lose. I have heard many say you will gain weight on Trulicity. If I could stay right where I am at with no medicine and only the diet that would be great but that won't happen. Not able to exercise fully due to past issues.

Thank you doctor, for this video. My A1C is 6.0, and I was told to lose weight. Got advice to take trulicity that it helps in weight lose and also control ones blood sugar. My weight now is 245.8 and have been trying really hard to lose weight but it feels like my body is finding it hard to lose. I tried keto with my husband, he was lost a lot of weight but I gained more weight and we ate the same food. I do exercise some times. Pls advice

Try intermittent fasting. It worked for me . There are a number of videos regarding this. Do not eat between meals and no sugar of carbs.

Have you tried interment fasting? It works. I have lost 82 lbs and got off all meds. I started Keto with less than 20g of carbs. I only ate green veggies for my carbs. No "keto" food, just green veggies and meat. Good luck.

I’ve just found out I have benign nodules on the right side of my thyroid. I have underactive thyroid. Do you think Trulicity could cause the nodules to turn cancerous? I’ve just been prescribed Trulicity. Thank you

Since you use the word benign, I'm assuming you are discussing this with your doctor as such information can only come from him/her. He/She will evaluate your risk factors - personal and family history etc. and give you the best clinical judgement based on your individual circumstances. Wish you all the best.

OK why are we getting a pharmacist review? Pharmacist are not doctors, they like to think they are, but they are not, so I take this bit of advice with an enormous grain of salt!!!

Because pharmacists know more about medicine and doctors, just prescribe them.
