The first time I seen this attack my mouth was agape for like a full ten seconds. Not only the move itself, but the sheer timing of when it was unveiled was beautiful.
I think they should too, but considering the cast for SRW OG is too large now, its hard to get those characters a good story line. Maybe we can do it with the appearance of Guests army
Well.. Fromwhat i know of OG is that grangust was the 'original super robot'... Then they made many versions of it... like type2, typeO then type3... For all we know, G2s are also super robots thathad been inspired by the grungust design. So Grungust is the GRANDADDY of all super OG robot... just like wurger/eisen and their predecessors, huckenbein... Imho...
I have to say, for an AI it got a pretty good death. It got to serve as the focal point of a column of flames made entirely to make DaiRaiOh look completely and mercilessly badass.

I'm afraid that won't happen because Lenonjayce Stallord, Mina Likeling, Patricia Hackman, Hector Madison, Arwynn Dorstein and Grace Uligin has been forever scrapped forever by Terada-P and B.B. Studio in the favor of the 'womanizer' and the 'lady president'.
No, he wont, sadly. The Original Generation games have got far enough to get some Originals, amongst them is Touma and the DaiRaiOh, into the storyline yet. And as Divine War will only cover the first half of the Original Generation 1 game, he will not be in it. Hopefully he will be in OG3 or 4, if they make more games in the series, and i would say its highly likely they will.

@ferryarthur on the images from famitsu you can see both: The Raioh and the Jinrai, piloted by the AI. It's pure speculation from the friends of /m/, but theories range from the lost DGG-4 unit to enemie/alien copy of Raioh just to beat the other 3 DGG
